1. Cut the cill supplied to the correct size and fit the end caps provided using superglue or silicone sealant. Bed the cill onto a thin layer of mortar or silicone sealant before levelling and fixing into the brickwork opening using frame fixings minimum 100mm long. 3 fixings should be sufficient. 2. Fit the locking barrel and handles supplied using the screws provided. 3. Place the door and frame onto the cill, level and plumb the frame then pack into place using plastic packers or wedges. Once you are happy with the position of the door fix the frame to the cill using self tapping screws minimum 65mm long. 2 fixings should be sufficient but ensure that no fixings are closer than 150mm to the welded corners. Fix the side jambs of the frame into the brickwork using frame fixings minimum 100mm long. 4 fixings should be sufficient but ensure that no fixings are closer than 150mm to the welded corners. Re-check that the frame is still level and plumb, if it has moved then just loosen the fixings and repack as appropriate.

4. Remove the beading from the inside of the door, remove the protective tape from both sides of the infil panel. Place the infil panel or sealed units supplied into the door and pack tight into place using plastic packers or wedges, the packers should only be inserted as per the illustration. Re-fit the beads to secure the infil panel or sealed units into place. 5. Adjust the door for  correct operation using the 4mm allen key bolts on the hinges for lateral movement and the 4mm allen key bolts on the keep for compression adjustment. 6. Now you can remove all of the protective tapes and fit the hinge cover caps supplied. The door is now installed and ready for sealing and making good. A fitting kit containing frame fixings, plastic packers and an adjusting tool is available to purchase when ordering your door. Sill pan can be cut to fit the opening if needed Pack includes a sloped sill pan, pair of end caps, PVC cement with applicator and installation instructions Size of suresill pan? You can use 11X Adjustable Sill Pan. 11X has 11 different sizes between 3-1/4” – 7-1/4”. HOW DO YOU DETERMINE PROPER DEPTH OF SILL PAN? Sill pan comes in 4-9/16" and 6-9/16" sizes. The former is intended to be used for 2"x4" wall installations, and the latter for 2"x6" wall installations. 4-9/16" = 3-1/2" stud + 1/2" drywall + 9/16" sheathing. Likewise for 2"x6" walls where stud depth is 5-1/2" instead of 3-1/2". The 4-9/16" pan must be used with a 4-9/16" jamb door and similarly with the 6-9/16" jam, although the 4-9/16" jamb door can be installed in a 2"x6" wall installation using jamb extensions that are notched at the bottom to fit over the back vertical edge of the pan.

How do i know what width of sill pan to buy? Typically, all garage floors are constructed at the front of the garage to force water drainage outward and away from the entrances to the garage. Hence, your problem is not the door collecting rain that runs down and under the door toward the interior. A simple fix that would not require a door replacement is to glue a rubber strip on the floor to block the water behind the sill location. It must be securely sealed and closed at the door jamb on both ends. Now, if the new door is a definite GO, you may want to consider that the house entries use a sill plate that will work fine with the new door on the garage (recommend metal) if sealed properly when installed. If your budget allows, you can hire someone like me (retired military) that has the skill and ability to economically provide a permanent solution to your dilemma. Don't worry, Be Happy...! The problem is not a serious one. Most sliding doors are 72x80 and so is mine. You sell no sill which is 72 in.
