We enjoyed that and just being back in Old Louisville, with its Victorian charm. As usual, Bob and Eva were gracious and welcoming. During an afternoon thunderstorm we enjoyed relaxing on the back porch ... and a bit of moonshine from the well-stocked refreshment area. Our room and bed were comfortable and we slept well. Our gourmet breakfast was delicious; Eva assured us that everything was organic. And we enjoyed spending an hour with two other couples at the large dining table. Just a short distance from downtown Louisville, the Central Park B&B and Old Louisville are a pleasant step back in time. great stay - short trip on September 14, 2015

My wife, adult daughter, and I had the pleasure of spending only one night at Central Park. We were in town for a wedding. Robert and Eva are great innkeepers and very hospitable. We actually stayed in the Carriage house because we needed the extra bed. It was nice having the full kitchen! We went to Donsi Pizza around the corner and got a takeout pizza and took it back to the room for lunch. Nice having big refrigerator for drinks and leftovers. Breakfast was elegant and wonderful. We highly recommend this B&B. So much better than staying at a hotel on January 10, 2015 If you would like to meet the two nicest people in all of Kentucky, then stay at the Central Park B&B and spend some time with owners Bob and Eva. We were in town for the weekend and decided to skip the hotel scene and enjoy a B&B. So glad we did. Made some great new friends and got to experience everything that the Central Park B&B has to offer. The house is spectacular, the accommodations are luxurious, the food is phenomenal and the hospitality is second to none.

Old Louisville is beautiful and rich in history. Thanks again Bob and Eva, we will see you again. Amazing Bed and Breakfast Experience!!!!!!!!!!!! on November 11, 2014I was fortunate to experience 4 nights of endless pampering at the finest Bed and Breakfast ever-Central Park of Louisville. Eva and Robert were the perfect innkeepers from sun up to sun set and beyond. Amazing accommodations, impressive 5 star quality dining which centralizes around a home which invites one to inhale the beauty of our senses. Eva and Robert dedicate their business to pleasing their guests. Every second of my time with the Wessels, displayed their commitment to making my trip to Louisville so perfect and memorable. I have never stayed at a place whereby the guests are treated like royalty. It is rather sad to leave the Central Park Bed and Breakfast and return to normal life in the Hudson Valley section of New York. I shall be returning as a regular guest to this impressive, impeccable and inviting inn.

Bravo to the Wessels for sharing hospitality to everyone. I loved each day at the Central Park Bed and Breakfast of Louisville, KY. My favorite inn is Central Park Bed and Breakfast. Stellar place which should receive a rating much higher than outstanding. on December 18, 2013 If you want a B&B with great service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a ridiculously wonderful breakfast, this is IT. We have stayed twice and each time it exceeds the time before. You'd pay $40 per plate for the breakfast they serve, so the price of the rooms doesn't end up being that expensive. Throw in the wine bar, fresh baked cookies, snack bar, and cold refreshments in the fridge, and staying here is a no brainer. We HIGHLY recommend it... The Best B and B Experience on April 08, 2013 We have traveled all over the country and stayed at many different B and B's, but the 4 days at the Central Park B and B were the absolute BEST! It all starts with the wonderful innkeepers, Eva and Bob, who open their home to their guests and go out of their way to meet your every need.

Eva is an incredible chef, so we started each day with a gourmet feast that not only tasted delicious, but looked beautiful. The house is well preserved, lovingly maintained and beautifully decorated with Eva and Bob's extensive collection of antiques. We loved our bedroom, the Peacock Room, which was spacious and well appointed with antiques, but all the necessary modern appointments. The bed was luxurious, from the silky smooth sheets to the warm fluffy down comforter. The amenities include 24 hour snacks (including homemade cookies!), tea, soft drinks and wine in the evening, DVD players and an extensive DVD library. The location is perfect with plenty of free parking and Eva and Bob are very knowledgeable of local history and attractions. They really made this a memorable experience! on December 05, 2012 Jerry and I had a wonderful time. I even begin to tell you how much fun we had at your lovely home. We felt like we made new friends and loved your home!!!!!! on February 25, 2012

We enjoyed our stay! The room was beautiful...service was excellent! The breakfast was to die for! We will highly recommend this B&B to all our friends! on December 31, 2011 Central Park Bed and Breakfast is a fantastic establishment. The B&B is in a wonderful location across the street from a historic park and just moments away from all the fun places in Old Louisvile. I stayed in the Carriage House with my wife and dog on the 22nd of December and we liked it so much we stayed their again on the 28th. The owners are committed to customer service and go the extra mile to make sure you not only enjoy the B&B but everything Old Louisville has to offer. They even saved a bone from their rib roast to give to our plott hound! Lastly, the breakfast is a five star experience with high quality gourmet ingredients that are cooked to perfection. We will stay here everytime we are in Louisville from now on. Best Bed and Breakfast in which we've ever stayed. on November 03, 2011
