Spring Air is a large mattress manufacturer founded in 1926 that is based in Chelsea, MA the United States. The Spring Air brand was acquired by new owners in June 2009. Its prior owner, Consolidated Bedding, had previously filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations in May 2009. He said he slept very well both times and the mattress was very comfortable. I bought this because space in my home is limited.
I can move it with very little effort on carpet which is a plus! It will be put to great use when I have out-of-town family visit. It is extremely well built and is very comfortable to sleep on. We are completely satisfied with it This was a life saver after having a flood that ruined a bed. Good sleeping until ready to get new regular bed. No dissapointment in quality with Castro name. Although I have a ground floor bedroom I bought this ottoman to use during recovery from knee replacement surgery. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is very stable when getting up and down, the correct height to facilitate independent standing and sitting down, and very comfortable. I think I would have been much less comfortable getting in and out of my much higher bed. It was a great purchase and I am sure it will get much use in the future.
I wish I would have purchased this ottoman sooner. I have been using this ottoman bed for about three months now. It is very easy to roll and place wherever you need it. I am a petite person and have no problem moving it or opening and closing it. When it is delivered you do need to have someone help you get it in your home and take it out of the box. It is very heavy!! It is extremely well made. I also purchased the mattress cover and sheet set. I wash them in warm water and like them very much. Our house is full as we have children and my husband snores. This has offered me a place to get sleep and not ruin my new sofa. I did choose the paisley cover, because I thought it would be more forgiving with not showing dirt with three kids and a dog. I was concerned it would not go with my gold/light yellow furniture, but blends very well. I do wish they would make a blue or denim ottoman cover. If you are on the fence about this product don't be. Just order it and make your life a little
We bought 2 (TWO)! I am almost 70 yrs old and I have NO trouble moving OR setting up these TWIN Deluxe ottomans! These are TOP QUALITY and a great addition to any decor.And my 10 yr old grandchildren can set up and put back these TWIN ottomans!We have frequent company and these are a lovely addition for extra seating and SLEEPING, and get great use. We choose the deluxe TWIN for easy sheet and blanket size. And because it fits our 6'4 Sons and grandsons. Small apartment or large home - these are a MUST have. I bought this for my son and he love it. This is the best thing in a bed that he love. My son did not want a bedroom set and this is perfect. I purchased this ottoman because I needed a place to sleep, however, I also wanted something mult-functional. I did not want another sleeper sofa due to the fact that they are not the most comfortable beds, and I use this daily. This was everything I was looking for and more. It is a regular bed, disguised as an ottoman during the day.
