The place is also very secure and comes with private parking. Loved staying here and coming back for sure! This property was advertised accurately. It was very clean and Daniel was really nice and helpful. We stayed there with four people, but I would recommend 2-3 people for a place this size. The only thing was that it was advertised as a quiet building but the upstairs neighbors were constantly working out and banging on the ceiling. This was at random times every day of our stay. It was pretty annoying but not Daniel's fault.

The guest bed was not too comfortable but the master had a pretty nice mattress. We didn't do any cooking but all the necessities were there for it. The parking space for our rental was nice since the streets don't seem to have much available parking. The neighborhood was convenient to Old San Juan, the beach, and restaurants/night life. A few minute drive to La Placita for very lively nightlife that I would recommend checking out. A real relaxing stay in Condado in the apartments. I definitely recommend renting this Condado apartment on Calle Washington via VRBO. Daniel is a very professional in handling the transaction right from the inquiry to refunding deposit. I am going to review all (apartment, Puerto Rico tips, and gotcha's while in PR). The apt which is in Condado, a neat upscale neighborhood of San Juan. About 10 to 15 mins from the airport and very convenient to most of the transit points in San Juan. The condado beach is a few blocks away. We were able to run around several miles and also exercise at Planet Fitness which is on 1511 Ponce De Leon (right off of Calle Estrella / Diego / De Parque) about 10 mins drive from Calle Washington.

Daniel was magnanimous about waiting until we reached the apartment from a late-flight and arrived a little after 1AM. Very dapper and fluent in english, Daniel gives you a preamble of the do's/don'ts of the apartments. Hands over the apartment keys and main gates opener (a really fortified mode of getting/out of the apartment building). We did walk around late-night, and its really safe, and the people all around are very courteous. The cookies in the fridge were delicious, and we loaded up from the nearby 24/7 supermax on Calle Wilson (5 mins walk). Daniel provides almost everything to make it a cozy stay. Apartment has good A/C, lighting , flat-screen TV, Chess, Pictionary, towels, extra bedding etc.. washer/dryer in kitchen area, and beach armamentarium. The only thing we needed was Tide pods for washing, of course groceries, which we went light so as to taste all the nice restaurants on Condado ("The place", Danny's pizza, and some local PR food right in condado). Do get a laptop/dvd player with HDMI, as you can relax with watching movies.

the Wi-Fi is very strong and you feel at home. Some tips to get by the trip: 1. Rent a small car. San Juan has very narrow roads and most of the time, you will be slowing down to let the other car go by. you will have to load your big suitcases from airport and back. Renting a car is a must.. you cannot enjoy PR without a rental car. 2. Book all tours in advance. Avoid 3rd party companies. Viator cancelled our 2 trips and this is the first time we experienced rejection all over :( 3. Visit Old SanJuan, RainForest,Bio-bay (Yohaku tours), Cueva ventana Caves, Luqillo beaches, Vieques/Celubra islands,JetSki via Aquatica tours in condado thanks Daniel for a great stay! This apartment was clean and close to everything. Daniel is very friendly, accomodating and hostipable.More than I could have expected. The Condo and location: This was my first time using Homeaway and I will be using it more because of my experiences on this last trip. Daniel and Jackie were great.

There were candies in the fridge when we got to this great, clean condo. All the amenities of home for much less than a hotel. It was near the hotel district in Condado, but in a great upscale residential neighborhood. I met some med students from the US that were living in the same building and loved it. The bed was as good as at home or the Westin. The kids had there own room. 3 minutes walk to a great supermarket. If I had to live in San Juan this would be perfect. Also it was a $5-7 Uber ride to Old San Juan, Bacardi Factory, or the airport. 7 minute walk to La Placita - the most happening spot in PR - picture Bourbon St. At this time Uber will not pick up at the airport so it is $20 from the airport to 73 Calle Washington. The condo was well built and quiet. There was a secure parking spot for our rental. Daniel and Jackie were great from the first moment but got even better. I would now consider them friends and hope to keep in touch with them. We loved them so much we went back to stay at there place at the tail end of our adventure.

They were always available and it was like having a built in concierge. He actually drove us to a few spots that were out of his way. Every recommendation was spot on. I hope to see them again. If you are looking for a place I would highly consider this one. If you would like to talk to someone before you pull the trigger that has staid there reach out to them and I give him the go ahead to use me as a referral. I don't do this for everyone. Professional people that live in the same building but this is 100% private and 100% secure. We considered a hotel and some of the ones that I looked at we walked by daily. The difference is that at this condo we had it to ourselves, it slept all 5 of us comfortably, and we were more secure - at a much cheaper price than us getting rooms. Thanks Daniel, for letting us use your place as a base camp on a great two week adventure. Matt, Teresa, Alex, Carmen, and Natalia. The condo was equipped with all the necessary things to have a comfortable stay.
