I promised I was going to do this a year ago, and now it's officially underway: I've got a new, official, self-owned website; It's a bit sparse right now, but ultimately it's going to become a hub for all of my work, news, series and merchandise (which currently means the books but should hopefully soon involve more than that. There are authentic Chinese sequined costumes, elaborate hair and makeup reminiscent of the traditional Chinese theatrics. The play is bilingual, with dialogue in English and Chinese, and appropriate for all ages. The theatre is in the Buddha’s Universal Church and the play will incorporate Buddhist themes, but there is no recruitment or heavy preaching. “Will Auntie Face Justice?” follows the tangled lives of the inhabitants of Professor Ming’s Mansion. The jealous Golden Pearl still pines for Jun Yip, the husband of Peony, who has mysteriously disappeared and Peony’s young son may be the next victim in Auntie’s illicit plans to bring her spoiled daughter Golden Pearl closer to Jun Yip.
