We are a friendly, diverse, active group of North Reading moms looking for a chance to make connections and create lasting friendships within our community. If you're new to the area, a new mom, or just looking to meet other local families this is a great way to do that. There are adult-oriented events including a monthly book club, mom's nights out or mom's nights in (such as Oscars night or wine and cheese events). For the kids, there are playgroups, meet-ups at local playgrounds and play spaces, and outings to places like Connors Farm and Look What I Made. And for the whole family, we have events such as a our Halloween party and Dinner and a Movie Night Out. Since the group consists of both working and stay-at-home moms, events are held both during the day and at night or on weekends. There is also a strong focus on creating ties within our community, as evidenced by our partnership with the NR library and our presence on NR Patch as a Local Voice. This is a fully volunteer/member run group.
All meetups in our group are organized by members and dues go towards running the site as well as towards special group events. We ask that you pay your dues promptly. For prospective members, please note that we ask you to provide a photo to help identify you at meetups. These photos are NOT visible outside our meetup space.
