Hi there!54321Click to RateShare Review06/30/2011I LOVE Century Theaters!I have always loved going to the century theaters chain of movie theatres. The staff is amazingly nice, movie theaters are always really clean, and the restrooms are very well maintained also. The sound on the movies is amazing also, and video quality is surpurb. Keep up the good work!ShareFlag04/20/2007Provided by Citysearch - Best seating on the west sideI like the big comfy rocking seats. The movies are pretty much the usual. I notice they have a lot more food choices, but since there's a mall food court right next door, I usually go there instead. A little more expensive than Regal, but worth it.Flag02/20/2006Provided by Citysearch - Love the goodiesthe new type of stadium seating is great, but the food, now we can have just about anything we want to eat. Getting tired of popcorn and sodas? try the kettle corn and a starbucks coffee.Flag01/23/2006Provided by Citysearch - I love this placeI live in SW Portland and could go go any number of theaters and this is by far my favorite.

Individual results may vary. on July 31, 2015 at 5:04 AM, updated When "The Lego Movie" was released in early 2014, a lot of people were relieved that it turned out to be a slyly self-referential piece of pop subversion instead of a glorified commercial for the eponymous toy company. But it's possible some folks were disappointed by that fact. For them, there's "A LEGO Brickumentary." This 90-minute exploration of the myriad ways Lego is great suffers from a relentlessly annoying narrator and a punishingly peppy tone. Still, if you're an AFOL--that is, an Adult Fan of Lego -- or even a KFOL -- you can figure that one out, right?--there's plenty to make it worth your while. If you're not, don't bother. A Lego figure with the voice of Jason Bateman leads a tour through the history of the Danish company that was founded in 1916 and still has its headquarters in Billund, a town of about 6,000 people. After some tough financial times in the 1980s, the company has prospered in recent years, the movie says, by embracing its fan community and the "master builders" who literally think outside the box to create astonishing works of what you'd have to call art.

If you can't make it to Seattle's annual BrickCon, Portland's Bricks Cascade, or one of the other major Lego expos, this is a great opportunity to see what people like Seattle's Alice Finch can do. Her massive recreation of the elven city of Rivendell from "The Lord of the Rings" is something to behold. In the bigger-is-better department, the movie also follows the construction of a life-size X-Wing fighter out of Lego bricks (it does have a steel frame, which kind of seems like cheating). Throughout, the testimonials pile up from people praising the simple, creatively inspiring genius of Lego, including bits from celebrity endorsers like NBA star Dwight Howard and Trey Parker of "South Park."  It's all true, of course, but it gets old hearing it over and over. Some of the more interesting interviewees include a Danish mathematician who determined that six Lego bricks (each 2x4 pegs) can be combined in 950 million combinations, and an American who makes a living manufacturing Lego-scaled modern-day weapons (which Lego won't do).
