The "$1M with Bitcoin in a Year" Experiment
GordeevI'm going to test whether it's possible to make $1,000,000 in one year's time by investing one bitcoin a week.
I'll be considering both new projects and those already listed on the exchanges. The point is that the company might unlock its potential after an ICO.
The main rule is that I'll be able to sell the coin no earlier than a year after I've purchased it. Even if it plummets by 100%, I'll still hold it. "Think before you act."
I'll soon create a spreadsheet for projects, dates, prices, and comments.

You need to understand that by "$1M," I mean its equivalent in BTC as of 10/1/2018. Also, what I'm talking about is investment income, not the value of a portfolio.
I plan to do reviews often and post them to the channel. Don't expect them to be much detailed, though. I'll be highlighting only the aspects I do or do not like. I'll try to make those brief and informative.
For the record, the day before I wrote this post in Russian, bitcoin price had been $4,200. I had $223,600 worth of BTC. Making 5x out of it seems pretty ambitious. Now, why on earth would I even get into anything like that!?
Why will I succeed?
The blockchain-based market is the whole new world. The Internet made it possible for anyone to access almost any kind of information easily. Thanks to the Internet, hundreds of "unicorns" have appeared in the past 20 years. The blockchain technology is changing the way individuals keep and manage capital and property. People start to obtain what is justly theirs.
My task is rather simple—monitor the projects, choose the best ones, and purchase tokens/currencies.
Blockchain atomized investments and made crowdfunding available to anyone. At the moment, no one can prohibit me from acquiring even a $1 worth of a project I find promising. Blockchain enables real geniuses to get financing quickly if they need it. The most intelligent and prominent individuals take it all, and not those who use the power of tale-telling on the investors.
To sweeten the deal, I assume that bitcoin will reach $10,000 throughout the year, so I'll need the 2.5x surge.
Later on, I'll tell you what criteria I use to choose projects. I will continuously be updating this particular doc.
