My latest experience in volunteering was a project called "VR Therapy". The idea of the project was to use virtual reality technology with kids that have physical or mental disabilities in order to have a positive influence in their emotional and psychological health. First reason is that I was invited by Mihaela Galusca, an acquaintance whose opinions I respect very much. Second reason is that I want to volunteer more and I want to know how can I inspire others to volunteer also.

What are your expectations from this course:

My desire is to learn more about the power and impact volunteering can have in the community and in the society as a whole. I want to volunteer more, and also inspire more young people to get involved in interesting community projects

How can you contribute to the project?

I am good at making videos, editing them and sharing them so more people can find out about something. I am good at digital skills and teaching young people in this field. (I am running a YouTube channel on this topic - http://bit.do/academia-rockit-channel ) I can teach young people on how to use digital media so that more people can find out about what you are doing.
