Following a suggestion from @Poolitzer, I've just added some GDPR info to our FAQ:

No other news on that front so far, but I'll keep you updated.
Note that the FAQ also mentions that Apple has not been letting through any of our updates since mid-April. If users inquire as to the reasons behind this strange situation, feel free to tell them that we were not provided with explanations as to why our updates have been hanging "in review" ~ since April 13, 2018.
Some further thoughts (FYI and in case of further questions):
- If Apple had an issue with our apps (or any content one could access via Telegram) in general, they would've removed the apps from the App Store – as they've done in the past – instead of just blocking updates
