Chair backs are fitted in durable burlap. Strings from tufting can be seen on the back, adding vintage detail.Frames are hand-painted in an Antique Honey wood finish.Special order options are not available for this collection.Through a multi-step finishing process, the wood is given a weathered look that highlights naturally occurring nicks and antique-inspired markings.Frame is built from solid beech wood enhanced with a no-sag construction sustained by a network of springs for flexible support.Tapered legs feature handsomely carved detailing where they join the frame.Finishes are durable enough to withstand daily use; but, as with all fine, wood finishes, should be protected from heat and moisture.Handcrafted wood surfaces are easily maintained with soap and water. Non-wax Guardsman® Wood Polish can be used as needed. Depending on the fabric selected, certain cleaning codes may apply.Pieces upholstered in Sierra leathers should be cleaned with mineral water only.Avoid using leather cleaner and conditioner.




For oil-based spills: Lift excess spill then blot with a clean, soft cloth. The oil should absorb completely into the leather.Spot-clean oil-based spills by blotting with a clean, soft cloth.Clean liquid spills with mild soap and distilled water. Air-dry.For overall soiling, use a professional cleaning service.Wear is relative to care and use.Avoid sunlight and heat, which could cause cracking or fading. Designed by Peter Roth, the FLAIR chair is designed for use in all aspects of conferencing. From the large congress hall facility to the intimate meeting room, FLAIR incorporates all that is desirable in a conference chair. The multi-contoured seat shell offers true comfort while maintaining a compact footprint for maximum numbers, with the simple aesthetics and clean lines providing architects and designers flexibility to offer a contemporary solution for all environments.




FLAIR is available fully upholstered, and the chrome plated frame features a unique flared leg detail and a foot incorporating a stacking buffer. Optional features include retractable linking, seat / row number clip, recessed handle and a detachable tablet. The stacking trolley enables the chairs to be handled and stored with ease.With the Pedestal Collection, Eero Saarinen vowed to eliminate the "slum of legs" found under chairs and tables with four legs. He worked first with hundreds of drawings, which were followed by ¼ scale models. Since the compelling idea was to design chairs that looked good in a room, the model furniture was set up in a scaled model room the size of a doll house. Drawing on his early training as a sculptor, Saarinen refined his design through full scale models, endlessly modifying the shape with clay. “What interests me is when and where to use these structural plastic shapes. Probing even more deeply into different possibilities one finds many different shapes are equally logical—some ugly, some exciting, some earthbound, some soaring.
