Our meeting room is located off the Children's Collection. Some amenities and equipment are available for an additional fee. Please refer to our meeting room information, usage policies, and reservation procedures. To reserve the meeting room, please fill out a (click on link for a PDF copy or pick up a printed one at the reference desk) and make the payment before the meeting.
If you'd like to check on the availability of the meeting room, please call the library at (808) 377-2456. The room includes tables, chairs, a podium, and a projection screen. The room can accomodate 50 people lecture style without tables or up to 20 people seminar style around tables. A television, DVD player, and VCR are available for an additional fee. Meeting room users must bring their own projector and computer for presentations or any other equipment necessary for their event. At this time there is no Internet connection for computers and no cable connection for the television. Note, use of public school space requires filling out an application for use of the facilities. In addition to biblical teaching that brings about maturity, they are searching for a church where God’s presence is felt and worship is powerful. At Lighthouse Outreach Center, we hold a morning and an evening church service, Bible study, prayer meetings, and youth night, in addition to many other ministries. As the body of Christ, we believe in community service and operate a food bank, café, and thrift store at various times throughout the week in our community center. Our community center is also available for rental for weddings, concerts, conferences, volleyball tournaments, and more.
We also rent out our tents, tables, and chairs for events. At Lighthouse Outreach Center, we do it “All for the Lord.” It is our aim to provide a safe and secure environment. Therefore, alcohol, cigarettes, and e-cigarettes are prohibited in the community center and on church premises. We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere for families and children, and we will not endanger them by allowing the use of substances on our grounds. Our vision is to create a community that is conducive to raising up men and women of faith who realize their potential in Christ. We want to see them become witnesses in their cities, their states, and beyond. We want to reach the lost, the underprivileged, and the hurting people in this world. • The shelter sleeps over 120 individuals and is open 24 Hours daily. Guests are provided with an evening meal and lockers for personal items. • The shelter also provides social services to aid our guests with rental assistance, medical issues, and life skills such as budgeting.
