How to rent a room at Copperview for a non-athletic event. (For athletic event, see below): Room rentals must be made at least TEN business days in advance. There is no guarantee that we can meet your request. 1) Make a request by calling Copperview Recreation Center or by e-mailing Suzanne, Rental Coordinator. 2) The request needs to be as complete as possible; including all phone numbers and an ;email address. Dates, times, number of people, number of tables, and folding chairs needed, etc. Your request will be reviewed by the appropriate staff, then the rental supervisor will contact you. This can take up to seven business days. 4) If the request is accepted, you will need to come to Copperview Recreation Center to sign a Contract and Conditions of Use form and pay the appropriate rental fee or deposit.
Deposit is 25% of rental fees. Rental fees are calculated by Rental Coordinator. 5) Requests may be processed up to THREE months in advance, but not guaranteed; ALL Salt Lake County programs take precedence. 6) Any changes to the rental need to be made within seven business days of the rental. But there is no guarantee that the requested changes will be allowed due to staffing or other issues. How to rent a gym at Copperview for group practice, game, and/or athletic event: For coaches/teams who want to schedule reoccurring gym reservations during non-peak hours (before 5pm weekdays and Sundays)No reoccurring gym reservations allowed during peak hours or on Saturdays • Contact our Rental Coordinator, Suzanne at 385-468-1511 or by email • Request needs to be made at least ten days in advance and can be made up to three weeks in advance. • If request is approved (may take several days for approval), coach will need to complete, sign, and date the Center Rental Agreement and pay the rental deposit (25% of total rental fees).
The remainder of the fees is due one week before first reservation. • Any changes and cancellations need to be made at least 7 days prior to first reservation. If cancellations are made in a timely manner, a refund less a 25% administrative charge may be issued. If a team fails to appear, refund is forfeited. • Refer to Center Rental Agreement for further details of conditions. ONE-TIME RENTALSFor coaches/teams (of less than 25 coaches and players) who want to reserve one-time half gym reservations during peak hours (after 5pm) • No reservations allowed on Saturdays. • Contact Suzanne at 385 468-1511 at least one week in advance for contract and payment arrangements, on all rentals. • All practices must be finished and areas cleaned up by the end time of the reservation. • Any reoccurring during non-peak hours reservations, groups of more than 25 players and coaches, and/or more advanced notice reservation, must contact our Rental Coordinator.
