I held my wedding (ceremony and reception) here and the venue is gorgeous! Despite all of the construction Maurice made sure that it did not affect my wedding day. The grounds are well maintained and the package that I got included the entire garden. For now the garden has some really nice string lighting that is really pretty at night. For my wedding day Maurice was there on the grounds the entire time working with my planner to ensure everything was perfect. You wont be disappointed by booking this venue for your event! When we picked the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens over a year ago we were so excited to find a venue that was central to Miami and South Beach. Upon our arrival we met with Maurice who gave us a tour and his passion for the garden and South Beach really shined through. At the time of our visit the construction at the convention center was not an issue as it was on the north side and convention center was not closed at that point. As our wedding approached and our visits to the botanical garden increased we became very nervous that the construction would affect our ceremony;
however after meeting with Maurice and Sandy (the director) we were assured it would not be an issue. They were correct and we could have not been any more pleased with having our wedding at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and having Maurice doing so much behind the scenes. Maurice was our champion and we urge you to consider this venue for your event. We had the pleasure of providing catering rentals and dj services for our Bride at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Maurice the coordinator and his entire staff are true seasoned professionals that made this wedding flawless from beginning to end. They were quick to respond, thorough and organized. Maurice and his staff maintained great communication between us and our Bride. Needless to say our Bride and Groom were thrilled with the spectacular results! The venue is beautiful and has many options for design decor and planning. As a vendor I highly recommend this venue. It is a fantastic venue for a wedding reception! go straight to MAURICE because he'll get everything done!

The team at Miami Beach Botanical Gardens was exceptional in their service, in particular Maurice went above and beyond the call of duty to add special touches, suggestions and care to make our event beautiful and unique. His passion and expertise really helped us create a memorable event and of course, the gardens themselves are such a beautiful location for a special event: it was so nice to have the outdoor/indoor access of the Banyan Room.
Our event turned out beautiful. Thank you Maurice and the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens for your support in making this possible. The MB Botanical Garden was a wonderful venue for us! They have a Banquet room with Spanish tile that was large enough for 80 people seated an a dance floor for 150. We had many guests also sit in the covered terrace. We fit over 150 people without having any tables past the overhang (rain was in the forecast), so it is plenty big. You can fit many more on the grassy area. They have tables and chairs that are included in the venue rental. The chairs are white padded chairs and were perfect, we used them for the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony in the garden was beautiful, and the venue made for beautiful pictures, very green and lush backdrops. We were married in April, and I think this venue is best for the "cooler" months (not the summer). All in all, we loved having our wedding at the garden and would do it there all over again. Maurice Jackson was very kind and very efficient.
He went through every detail with us to make my husband's memorial service perfectly. He was very accommodating with our requests: the time for our preparation of the flowers and delivery, setting up traditional Japanese Buddhist service, audio and video with TV screen. Everything went perfect and beautiful. Everyone who attended the memorial still talking how beautiful it was. We were very nervous that things wouldn't go as planned. However, Maurice helped assure us during this momentous time and really did go above and beyond to make our wedding special. The location was beautiful and the wedding turned out to be so much fun!! Have my intimate small wedding at the MB Botanical Garden was the perfect venue. Beautiful for pictures and guests. We also had a rain plan in place it ease my fears of wedding showers. We were recently married at The Miami Beach Botanical Gardenand could not be happier with our choice of venue! It really is a beautifulplace and it was exactly what we had envisioned our wedding to be.
All of thestaff was very helpful and professional, but we would like to especially thankMaurice, the Sales Manager. He went out of his way to accommodate all of ourneeds and we truly appreciate all of his help and hospitality, and we hope heenjoyed the piece of wedding cake we left for him! This is a stunning venuethat won’t break the bank, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Ok we had our BEAUTIFUL garden wedding here. I would've been miserable had we not had Silvia save the day for us. Dealing with the woman who handles the contract & reservation had me really REALLY nervous. Let's just say that we weren't "feeling the love" from this person. It was as if it didn't matter to her one way or another if we booked this location or any other?!? But then thankfully we met with the BEST person at Miami Beach Botanical Gardens -Silvia! And all our fears we laid to rest. Patience pays, she's shy with speaking English as it's her second language but her heart is into making your day magical and that she did!!!
