We have had a terrible experience with this company. To start, they charged us in full prior to our event and over half of our order did not arrive for our wedding in May of 2016. I've been trying to get a refund for the amount that we didn't receive and they will not speak... I got a custom printed pillow with my coordinates and town name and I love it! I worked with their designers who helped my vision come true! Now I want to get everyone a similar custom pillow for Christmas!! I also rented the Swirl flatware for my friend's... We had quite a bit of difficulty the day of wedding this past June, as the furniture delivery did not arrive on time. In fact, the delivery arrived after our ceremony had ended while all of our guests filled the tented courtyard where the bar, decorations, desert platters,... I am a sales rep / catering director for a NYC Catering Company. Working and communicating with NECR has been incredibly difficult and I would not recommend for anyone to use this company.
There have been issues with lack of payment due to us, for extended periods of time, and... We rented a 120' farm table for our head table, 2 Louis chairs for myself and my groom, and outdoor furniture (2 chairs, a couch, and a coffee table) for cocktail hour to be placed in the outdoor courtyard. This furniture was amazing! It really pulled together our whole look. I agree the customer service is quite lacking. I was requesting assistance with seating and the representative either was clueless and non-creative or just didn't care to be of help. I will be looking for another vendor for our wedding. The overall effect was great First things first, NECR (and details from a couple other rental vendors) delivered the exact look I envisioned for my wedding day. Looking at the ceremony and reception space live and in pictures, I couldn't have asked for anything more. In the grand scheme of things, the... Extremely Late Delivery-No apology or explanation NECR broke our contract without warning or explanation when they delivered our rental 7 hours late and to the wrong address, in addition the order was not correct when it finally arrive. Once we realized our furniture had not come and we could not get in touch with anyone at... 24 days before my wedding, my wedding planner emailed me saying that NECR had overbooked all of the chairs and tables that I had reserved about 6 months in advance. we had a specific look that we were going for- we were going to go with a different rental company while we were... great to work withlots of misc things you can rent.
