Due to the limited hours of operation at Pacific Edge Outfitters, appointments can be made for pickup and drop off of towable equipment. Additionally, alternative drop off locations are available for smaller gear. These will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Please inquire with customer service representative at time of reservation. Get your Boater Safety Card online! You will need this card in order to rent a boat from Pacific Edge Outfitters. Before renting, check our trailer towing requirements. Outdoor recreation gear is also available for rent at the Bremerton Recreation Center. Items available include tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, cook sets, coolers, winter clothing, fishing poles and mountain bikes. Have a boat or travel trailer that needs a temporary home? Pacific Edge Outfitters can help. Lakeside settings are available for day use recreation, fishing, and picnics. Navy commands and authorized MWR patrons may reserve the parks for parties and picnics.
For more information call PEO. Installation fishing permits for Twin Lakes at Jim Creek and Trident Lakes at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor are now combined. One regional permit – regardless of the issuing MWR facility and installation – is good for all locations. Regional season permits are valid April 1 - March 31, to coincide with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife’s seasonal licenses. Those requesting fishing permits must come to the shop with a Washington State Fishing License in-hand. MWR Fishing Permits may also be purchased at: Pacific Edge Outfitters, Jim Creek, Bangor Liberty Center, or Bangor Fitness Complex. They have their own twist. rather than straight Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian or Laotian they combine flavors and spices, also with a French flair (some were (French Colonies) and use bits of this cuisine as well This place takes you to Thailand. They brought carved wooden decorations and their seating arrangements is partially seated on te floor over cushions.
They also have regular tables and chairs. The food was amazing. Deep flavors that melt in your mouth, they use a lot of lemon grass which I love. I've been to Thailand recently and this... I used to come to Indochine in Federal Way quite often. Now that I am working in the area gain, I decided to recommend it to our group for a lunch spot. The food was just as yummy as I remembered. Their fresh spring rolls are SO good! An appetizer, but more then enough food for lunch. I twice visited this restaurant about 3 years ago and I have a feeling it is still as good as it gets when it comes to Indochine dishes. I enjoyed the experience but then they moved (I think) and I forgot where until recently I noticed the same exact name at a different location. I bet it is the same... If you like Thai food and love the atmosphere, you are in for a treat! Yes, they have changed their name to Indochina but the food is just as good and the wait staff is the same in general. My favorites Mango Salad with Salmon cake and the Pod Se Yew are still delicious and my most favorite.
I understand there has been a name change, but this restaurant still has great food.friendly and efficient staff. Food is delivered quickly and hot. Good flavors and variety. The atmosphere is great, they have where you sit with your feet in the floor and you are on a pillow on the floor, very traditional. The food is amazing, huge menu with very different items. My favorite has to be Summer Basil Salad!! This place used to be Indochine but is now Indochina, no longer associated with the Indochine in Tacoma! Went there recently with a group of 10 people (who all met here on tripadvisor by the way). It was not particularly busy but the service was very slow. The drinks took forever being that they brought them out 2 at a... We use to live in Federal Way and this was always one of our favorite restaurants. We still visit the are 2-4 times a year and never miss ordering "the usual." Fresh Spring Rolls and Tom Kah soup. The fresh spring rolls are the best I have had anywhere including Thailand.

This place really is a treasure: the atmosphere is very calming and ethnic with a low-key charm; the food is fresh and tasty; lots of variety of foods. The only reason I don't come here except on very special occasions is the pricing. Probably appropriate for the number of stars, but.... So it's a rare treat.
