Because we’re focused on helping Minnesota food entrepreneurs find resources to help them make products for wholesale markets, we chose to list only larger “commercial” shared facilities. Curling Rentals: In Season (Nov-Mar) Includes 2 hours on the ice with instructors and all needed curling equipment and 1 hour afterwards for social. $20/ person for groups up to 50. $250 Security Deposit for groups larger than 25. No outside alcohol is allowed to be brought into the club. There is a flat $50 fee to open the bar for 3 hours for any event. Policy Guidelines:*The Memorial Union will provide one table (5’ x 30”) and two chairs for each setup.  Location is determined on a first come, first served basis.   Space is available to recognized student organizations and university departments. Approved off-campus / commercial vendors may reserve space for a fee.*All Groups MUST Check-In at the Admin Office Rm. 246, to receive table assignment. Failure to Check-In will result in forfeit of table reservation. Sanctions and loss of privileges may also result in any No-Shows. Check-In is MANDATORY.*Signs are to be displayed only on t-stands or by approved attachment to the table.  Customers may NOT use walls, bulletin boards, or window/door surfaces.  Signs posted at these locations will be removed by Memorial Union staff.*Groups may only reserve (1) one contact table.  Additional tables may be reserved the day of the reservation, if available.*Requests for equipment, such as a T-stand, or TV/DVD, should be made at the time of the original contact table request.  




One T-stand is available per setup as availability allows. Volumes must be kept on LOW setting and will be monitored by MU Staff to ensure minimal disruption to adjacent lounge areas, meeting rooms, and office spaces.*Distribution by means involving shouting, pursuing, “hawking,” or accosting individuals is prohibited, as in any interference with normal University functions or interruption of the free flow of traffic, inside or outside any building.*The University is not responsible for items left at the tables. Storage is not available. Vendors/organizations will be assessed a standard clean-up fee. All the materials will be disposed of.  *Recognized student organizations are allowed to conduct sales to raise funds that will advance the purpose of their organization.  Recognized student organizations must complete a Fundraising Registration Request Form, and obtain necessary approval signatures before their contact table reservation can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation. *Groups who wish to distribute items at their table must complete the Product Distribution Request Form, and obtain necessary approval signatures before their contact table reservation can be confirmed. Intent to distribute items at the contact table must be communicated to the Reservation and Event Services Office at the time the reservation request is made, via the online reservation request form.  *Fundraising and distribution items that duplicate merchandise available through the NDSU Bookstore or Dining Services are may not be allowed.  All items require approval obtained through the Reservation and Event Services office.  Further approval may be required from the Director of the Memorial Union, Dining Services, and/or the NDSU Bookstore on any items that are questionable.*The University does not approve the sale or distribution of any material that is racially or sexually offensive.*Contact tables must be attended by a representative from the organization at all times during the reservation.




Commercial Vendor Requirements:*Banks CANNOT accept account registrations; however, they may promote their services at a contact table.*Commercial vendors utilizing the Memorial Union for the sole purpose of soliciting individual customers by requiring a person to make a purchase or provide personal information (name, address, phone, email, etc.) may not distribute incentive or gift items of any kind.  PROMOTIONAL ITEMS MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT A CUSTOMER SIGNS WITH YOUR COMPANY. You may not substitute items for those who do not register with your group.*PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION MAY NOT BE PHOTOGRAPHED OR COPIED IN ANY FORM. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE PHOTOGRAPHING OF STUDENT IDS. Vendors not in compliance with this policy must leave the facility and will not be allowed to reserve a table in the future.*The cost to commercial vendors per setup is $100/day + sales tax.  Off-campus non-profit agencies can receive a 50% discount by providing the Reservation and Event Services Office documentation of non-profit status.  




*A deposit of 50% of the total bill will be required prior to the start date of the reservation.  Reservations made less than 14 days prior to the reservation will require full payment on or before the start date of the reservation.  Reservations will remain tentative until the signed contract and deposit have been received by the Reservation Office. FAILURE TO RETURN THE CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT BY THE SPECIFIED DATE MAY LEAD TO CANCELLATION OF YOUR RESERVATION WITHOUT NOTICE.*Complete charges apply for all cancellations received less than 72 working hours prior to the start date.
