It rained our first night ok poured down and it provided a nice little creek flow down the mountain for the remainder of the trip that provided the best waterfall sound. It was heavenly., the cabin was exactly like the website indicated. We will stay here again. My only regret is that we didn't stay another day to simply rock on the front porch and enjoy the cabin longer. I felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cabin was decorated beautifully and as usual I was not disappointed with booking through American Patriot Getaways. I have booked cabins through APGfor several years now and feel confident that I will always be in a clean cabin which is the number 1 thing I look for when searching for cabins. As we were leaving I told my husband that APG has it together with their customer service and housekeeping department. I look forward to my next stay. Just worried it may fall on the cabin when it goes and hurt the roofing over the deck and hot tub. Wonderful to have the hot tub after a long day of walking and sore muscles. My husbandwould like more detailed instructions on the workings of the TV and the Sterio. He really liked that you had the sterio on when we came in, but I am not sure that he was able to get it working again. However, we did figure out the TV and surround soundsystem, but it took a bit each sit down to re-figure it out, just like at home....TV controls are getting complicated. It was a bit scarey to stay out in the woods at night when we are not used to it, but thank you, thank you for installing the landline phone. It was a comfort to know we had a working phone in the case of an emergency. That was my number one check, was to see if there was a phone. Great Cabin, Clean, Close to Gatlenburg and Pigeon Forge, Very nice Stay.
