It was comparable to an efficiency apartment. Hardwood floors, large kitchen, table with 2 chairs, queen bed, full bathroom, love seat with chair. Fireplace on wall (gas) with a fire pit outside and two chairs on the porch.




TV set on wall (kind of high to watch comfortably, but so much to do in area, who has time for TV anyway except maybe a little bit... Problem with this review? Review posted to wrong location “Excellent location for visiting the Redwoods!” We stayed here as part of a longer trip in Northern California. The main purpose of our stay here was to see the Redwoods National Park. The cabin was in a great location for this as there are parks on your doorstep as well as the larger ones further afield - but not by much. Our host, Mark, was great. He made sure we had what we needed and gave us some directions on getting... A peaceful retreat in a lovely location! Mark was a wonderful host and the cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. #1 is away from the other cottages so it doesn't have the pretty pond view but does have it's own firepit which we enjoyed with our complimentary wine. It was nice to curl up there with our books the afternoon that it got cold and foggy.
