Absolutely thrilled when we located this place, and at a fantastic price, too! Couldn't have planned a last minute getaway for our first time to Port Clinton any better, room was great value and location was in great proximity to the islands' ferries. Can't wait to visit again!1Thank drummer7 Level Contributor“” This little inn on Lake Erie in Port Clinton is quite nice and a bargain in the off season winter months. Its a locally owned facility not far from U.S. 2 and the I-80 turnpike.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The view, even in Winter, is worth a second look.1Thank William B Level Contributor“” via mobileNice hotel, some said like a bed and breakfast, but it is a hotel. The décor is vintage. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had a double room it had a pull out sofa, small table and chair, mini fridge and microwave.1Thank missohio2 Level Contributor“” More like a B&B with your own bathroom! If you are snooty and want new and sterile, not your place to go. If you like homey and a good value for your dollar, yep. We needed a new coffee pot and whalla we had one. Problem with our room it was near the exit door and stairs. Level Contributor“” via mobileThe people running this hotel really made my birthday special. Upon arrival, I asked the hotel about their wine selections. The lady running the bar gave me a bottle of red wine on the house! What a nice surprise! The employees went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

For those who play Pokémon Go, there are plenty... “” I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews. I have to say that it was a really nice place. My sister and I stayed two nights on the second floor. We didn't mind that the furnishings were a little outdated since it was so clean and staff was so friendly. We had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Level Contributor“” via mobileWe were very pleased with our stay. I always read reviews for a hotel before we stay and all hotels around port clinton had mixed reviews, especially for being unclean. Then we found our guest inn and suites. The price was to good to be true so I read reviews - all said "clean", some mentioned uncomfortable beds and dated.... Level Contributor“” This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. We stayed one night in the vintage area. It's essentially an old house that has been converted to a King hotel room in the lower level and a 2 bedroom suite above. It's quirky with weird spaces in the rooms and old everything.
