Not only is it sturdy and well built, but it fits right at the table with your other chairs and grows with the child. In a pinch it can also be made to fit an adult! I like the wood tone ones, but we ended up with the grey one, which is not bad. We also got the baby set Stokke Tripp Trapp Baby Set, Red (I like the color combo) and have been putting our daughter in the seat since she could sit up well on her own (about 4mo).
We haven't bought the tray because we keep her pulled up to the table.
