Versace Book Plus Stroller, £2700Covered in an exquisitely brocade fabric from hood to wheels, this suitable-from-birth stroller has a nice touch: the bassinet functions as both a rocking cradle and a bed thanks to its adjustable base. As you would expect the Book Plus comes embellished with golden trim and the famed Versace Medusa medallions. Silver Cross Aston Martin Surf 2, £3000When Silver Cross does limited-edition modern buggies, it does it in the plushest style. Joining forces with luxury car brand Aston Martin the British pushchair maker has created a travel system that even a 21st century James Bond would be proud to push. Sold exclusively at Harrods, the buggy has Alcantara suede on its exterior pram unit and seat - the same material used on the roofs of Aston Martin cars. But it is limited; there are only 600 units available worldwide. Each pushchair comes with its own certificate of authenticity and an engraved brushed chrome plaque confirming that each pram is one of a limited edition - so there's no danger of cheap copycats on eBay.

Well, it looks like this Fendi pushchair. Created in the traditional buggy style with a highly polished chrome chassis, the pram is suitable from birth, crafted from the "highest-quality material" and stays "true to Fendi’s iconic style", so says the Italian luxury fashion house. There is certainly no mistaking this pram, as the carrycot and seat unit fabric carries the distinctive signature 'FF' zucca logo motif. Bugaboo by Diesel, £1743.80Another limited edition Bugaboo collaboration, this one with designer brand Diesel. Instead of simply adding coloured denim hoods, carrycots and footmuffs to existing pushchairs and calling them limited, Bugaboo has redesigned its pram’s chassis, wheels and handles to incorporate the Diesel style and logo – ideal for all denim enthusiasts.

Cybex by Jeremy Scott Callisto stroller, £500£500 may not seem like a lot of money (to some) but then, this is the price for a lightweight stroller. Most lightweight pushchairs cost between £50 - £200. They're basic models, mainly used as quick runarounds, and you can even get some for less than £15. But the Cybex Callisto has been created in conjunction with celebrity fashion designer Jeremy Scott, known for his larger-than-life designs. Hence the larger than you’d expect price tag. Silver Cross Balmoral, £40,000Similar to the Silver Cross Kensington, but even more historic, the Silver Cross Balmoral has been a firm favorite for the Royal Family since its creation back in 1877. Known as the Rolls Royce of prams, the Balmoral usually costs around £1450 but Silver Cross has released a few, bespoke, limited edition Balmorals with starting prices from £5000.
