This door is not an in-store item; they are sold online only. These doors cannot be trimmed more than 1/8 in. on any side according to the manufacturer, Masonite. Removing any more could affect the integrity of the door. can this door be used as a pocket door? Yes, since this door is not pre drilled it can be used as a pocket door, Just be sure that the hardware you select will fit a 1.38 in. thick door and will carry 40 pounds in weight. Can I use this as a swinging door? Because of the additional stresses swinging doors are subject to, I would recommend only using solid wood core doors for swinging doors. What is the distance from the bottom of the door to the btw of the first panel, same question for the top of door to the top of the top panel? You're referring to the height of the bottom rail and the height of the top rail. Generally, those are 8 inches and 4 inches respectively. Is the Solid Core able to be trimmed to fit a small height door?
