We are now looking for SW Intern (1-2 year fixed-term internship) w/ international team developing firmware for CPU products. You will enrich your knowledge and experience working for multidisciplinary project touching areas like CPU architecture, adaptive dynamic translation, code analysis and optimization, verification of complex sw systems and many other. We may provide you w/ attractive direction for BS or MS diploma.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, develop, enhance product components and infrastructure
- Apply source quality, correctness or performance analysis, develop related fixes and enhancements for product components and infrastructure
What we need to see:
- C or its derivatives: strong experience w/ at least one language
- Strong analytical skills: ability to understand code, identify stability defects and performance headroom
- English: upper-intermediate or higher, both spoken and written
- Strong motivation for learning
- Ability to work 20+ hours/week through entire internship period (w/o negative impact on education)
- BS or MS education in progress on math, SW or other related directions
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience w/ sw development within a team, familiarity w/ team development instruments and practices
- Experience w/ performance analysis and/or SW validation
- Knowledge in compiler theory and/or modern CPU architecture
- Experience w/ compiler algorithms and/or compiler infrastructure
- Experience w/ binary code manipulation, analysis or enhancement
