Frontend Developer

6+ years of front end development experience

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issue and ways to work around such issues.

- Strong HTML5 and CSS3

- 6+ years Experience with Object-Oriented JavaScript and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., Closure, jQuery, MNodeJS, Angular JS)

- Experience with large scale single-page web applications

- Experience with unit testing libraries such as Mocha and Jasmine

- Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass, Less, Stylus)

- Experience with pre-processors and trans-pilers such as Babel, SCSS, etc.

- Experience with JavaScript Obfuscator tool such as Closure Compiler

- Experience with RESTful APIs

- Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code

- Passionate about user experience design and enhancing the UI to help improve usability.

- Excellent branching, merging conflict resolving skill at SVN/Git

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle, knowledge of Continuous Integration is required.

- BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience required

- Familiarity with Java and JSP

Responsibility

- De-couple Javascript/HTML/CSS from jsp.

- Develop new user-facing features

- Enhance and refactor existing user interfaces

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Validate user input before submission to backend services

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

- Understand the full stack implementation, including Java code for backend services

- Mentor teammates and participate in design and code reviews
