In fact it is the second largest mall in the state, secondary only to Garden State Plaza in Paramus. Anyway, I'd have to tie Woodbridge and Menlo Pk, which could almost be twin malls since they are within five miles of each other and each has so much, and whatever one doesn't have the other does have. 2,940 posts, read 6,273,027 times 6,183 posts, read 4,066,597 times 19,891 posts, read 13,886,342 times 9,124 posts, read 29,787,776 times 107 posts, read 158,767 times Garden State Plaza is my favorite out of the ones I've been to. Least favorite is maybe Newport, partially because I'm just jaded about it. I've lived a 10 minute walk away from it for 15 years, but also because half of the stores I cared about are gone there, no more bookstore, even, although not that that bookstore was very good. It seems to be 50-60% shoe stores now, and some things, like the movie theater, are in desperate need of a makeover. I won't go see a movie there without checking what theater the film is playing in first, because a couple have tiny screens.

I might as well just watch it at home instead. The Hudson Mall should be a stronger contender for the worst, but I find myself attracted to it partially because it's so sad. The mall is not that bad, but hardly anyone goes there. It can be like walking through a ghost town sometimes. Some of the stores around it get more business, and I frequent them, too. There's a nice Toys R Us there, an Old Navy, a Marshall's, etc. 1,167 posts, read 3,486,018 times 12,040 posts, read 21,364,747 times 1,883 posts, read 2,575,558 times Please register to post and access all features of our very popular forum. Come visit us at Woodbridge Center and show us your #AEOSTYLE.I was in Sacramento, Calif., to catch the Lakers/Kings game at Sleep Train Arena. Just before heading to the game, I decided to check out a what local sneaker consignment shop KicxUnlimited had on hand. They've been advertising their newest gimmick called the "Kicx Master" (formally known as the Key Master) vending machine game – think of a claw machine that you'd find at any carnival or Chuck-E-Cheese. Now I'm not a gambler by any means, but if there's a shot to win overpriced and typically out-of-reach limited sneakers for just $5, you have to at least think about it. I had $10 in my wallet and asked one of the owners for change. Before allowing the Kicx Master to take my money, I took a look at the day's offerings. To name a few, there were Air Jordan 10 "OVOs," Supreme x Jordan 5s, Don C x Air Jordan 2s and the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 in both colorways.

Since I missed out on the Supreme x Jordan 5s upon their retail release, I decided to focus on those. My first attempt was all wrong. Being a rookie at this type of game, I should've paid closer attention to the strategies of previous winners. In fact, Instagram user and frequent customer cuban_t comes in to play every once in a while and he's won this thing a store record of six times. @cuban_t 6th win is the Jordan X OVO's. Jordan had 6 championships! On my first attempt, I let go too early thinking there was a third button I had to press to engage the key into the slot.

As a kid, I never read video game instructions. I always learned on the fly. But this time it cost me $5. On my second attempt, I decided to play it smart. You first start by positioning the key to the row you wish to play on. On the second move, you position the key to the desired height, and once you let go of the button, the key moves forward through a small opening and attempts to push the sneaker forward through the holder. I ended up hitting the top of the slot and just like that and I was down $10. They don't always use sneakers. For KicxUnlimited's one year anniversary, they put up to $3,000 cash inside the machine. It's definitely a great lure to get customers into the shop, even if I wasted my money. And to prove it's actually winnable, here's a look at the previous game winners. Another winner of the 1K prize. Congrats to @gabriel.ortega for playing the Kicx Master.
