The Air Jordan 2 Quai 54 Releases This Weekend For Adults And Kids July 19th, 2016 by Patrick Johnson Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball continue to celebrate the annual Quai 54 streetball tournament with a plethora of premium releases on some of the more recent performance models. While we’ve seen the likes of the Air Jordan XXX and the Kobe 11 transformed by unique colorways in honor of the Parisian event, today we get to see the Air Jordan 2 return with touches of Metallic Gold for a luxurious take sure to please fans of Jordan Brand’s recent lifestyle sensibilities. The Air Jordan 2 “Quai 54” will release this Friday, July 22nd at select retailers in both adult and kid’s size runs. The upper features a Light Bone leather that works in perfect harmony with the Metallic Gold heel and classic ‘Wings’ branding on the tongue. The shoe is part of a wider collection of Nike and Jordan releases tied to the event. The off-white and gold design features Quai 54 logos on the insole and outsole, along with a "P75" hit on the rear that is presumably a reference Paris' city center. The Air Jordan 10 "Paris" featured a similar reference.
Nike hasn't announced a release date for the shoe, but the Quai 54 collection will start to release this weekend on Saturday, July 9, with the Kobe 11 and Jordan 30 pairs. Rumor has it this Jordan 2 is releasing on July 22. It's likely that this Jordan 2 will be exclusive to Europe.
