INTRODUCTION TO SNAP

Snap is a basic kids game that requires almost entirely skill. Players must be able to observe and react quickly in order to win. This game is believed to have first started appearing around the 19th century.

THE DEAL

Cards are shuffled then dealt face-down, one at a time, and are dispersed as evenly as possible. It is okay if some players have more cards than others. Cards are kept in a face-down deck in front of each player.

THE PLAY

The player to the left of the dealer starts. The flip a card face-up beside their deck, starting a new pile. Play moves left and each subsequent player does the same.

if a player flips a card that matches the top card of another player’s pile, the first player to call “Snap!” wins both piles. These cards are added to the bottom of the player’s face-down pile. sòng bạc

If two players shout snap at the same time, the piles are combined put in the middle of the table. This is the snap pot or snap pool. Play continues as normal. If a player flips a card that matches the top card of the snap pot they shout, “snap pot!” and win those cards. This also occurs if a player mistakenly shouts snap when there is no match.

If cards in the face-down pile run out, turn over the face-up pile and continue playing. If you run out of cards again you are out of the game. The last player is the winner.
