Bristol County, Rhode Island The 4,000 square foot three level home features wood exterior architect series windows and doors trimmed in Spanish Cedar. The windows in the library are mahogany, to match the interior woodwork. The owners selected wood exterior windows to preserve the opportunity to change the color scheme of the home in the future. Currently the color is poplar white. This bungalow-inspired shingle style home located in the Bristol Highlands, was designed by Andreozzi Architects and built by Andy Tiplady. Clear glass patio doors offer a wonderful alternative if you are looking for a patio door unit without an obscured view. Some of our Clear Glass patio door options also can come with external grids. All of our patio units are built with continuous head and sill construction. Internal Blinds & Muntins These easy to clean white or tan mini blinds are encased between two panes of tempered glass, allowing you to control both light and privacy with the touch of a finger, and leaving your home free of the exposed cords and constant dusting found with traditional blinds.

Control light and privacy with the touch of a finger or have the grill (muntin bars) placed between the glass. How about a combination of both? The look of traditional divided lite doors in a more energy efficient internal design. This allows for the classic profile found in the original to be combined with the updated innovation of a more energy efficient door. Use sliding glass doors for patio access. Sliding glass doors provide a lovely view of a backyard garden and an extra-wide opening for when you need to move large pieces of furniture, such as a couch, into your home. Keep your sliding doors in working condition by periodically removing them and cleaning the tracks. Disassemble a sliding glass door to replace the rollers or when installing a new sliding glass door. Pry off the adjustment screw covers located at the bottom or side edge of the glass sliding door using a flathead screwdriver. Turn the screws counter-clockwise to pull the rollers up into the door. This lowers the door in the track to make space for you to tilt it out and remove it.

Remove the screws on the head stop of the sliding door. Slide the moving side of the glass door over to the center of its track. Stand on the inside of the house. Have a helper assist you with tilting the top of door in toward you and lifting it up out of the bottom track. Pry off the roller adjustment screw caps on the sliding screen door. Turn the adjustment screws counter-clockwise to pull the rollers up into the door. Remove the sliding screen door by tilting the top toward you, then lifting it up out of the bottom track. Remove the screws that hold the fixed door in place in the sliding door tracks. If the fixed side of the sliding glass door is held up by a metal strip that attaches to the door jamb, remove it. Have a helper assist you with tilting the top of the fixed glass door in toward you and lifting it up out of the track. Remove the track and door jamb by prying it up with a pry bar if you are replacing the sliding doors and the tracks. If the bottom track will not pry up, use a reciprocating saw to cut through the screws.

Cut the bottom track in half, then remove it.
