Our reclaimed solid wood Our handmade wooden furniture starts its journey many years before it arrives in your home. We source our solid wood from beautiful, historic buildings all over the UK. Some recent examples of the heritage sites we have extracted our wood from include the recent Kings Cross re-developments in London, a Victorian manor house in Yorkshire, several old mills and schoolhouses, and an 18th century brewery in Burton on Trent, to name but a few!
The average age of our wood is between one and two hundred years and its natural character comes through in every individual piece of luxury rustic furniture - each beam has its own history and story to tell. Reclaimed solid wood given a second life in your home Once we’ve rescued the solid beams from their previous life we carefully de-nail, prepare and sand each one by hand. This process means the reclaimed wood keeps its natural character before it’s lovingly handcrafted into a piece of beautiful rustic wood furniture.
