Our products are available exclusively at Sleep Number stores.Sleep Number By Select Comfort 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a large group program. While the property is clean and well maintained, it was a frustrating experience. To begin, this hotel is in Crystal City and is very close to the Metro and several restaurants are within walking distance. Parking is convenient and $10 per day. Traffic circulates well in the area and there is no street noise noticeable within the hotel. Our initial room was on the 6th floor facing the rear of the hotel. The room was large, quiet, and featured Sleep Number beds. This is where we start to go off track. My wife sat down on her bed and quickly was dumped on the floor. The mattress was very off kilter from the frame.

If you sat down you immediately went on the floor. My bed worked fine, The other queen sized bed, after it was reset on the frame, would only maintain its air for a few hours. Consequently my wife woke up at midnight to a flat mattress. In the morning we reported the problem with the bed to the front desk and we were told that evening that the bed had been fixed. But sure enough the second night the bed deflated again after 3 or 4 hours and my wife ended up sleeping on the bed frame again. Since attempts to fix the bed were then acknowledged to be not successful, the management moved us to the 2nd floor in a smaller room without Sleep Numbers, We were told that there are so many problems with the Sleep Number beds, they are phasing them out. Unfortunately we were moved into a section of the hotel used by high school tour groups. There was plenty of noise morning and night and a guard was stationed in the hall all night. The accommodations were worth far less than the room we had originally booked.

For our inconvenience we did receive complimentary parking for 5 nights, a $50.00 value.Problems with hotels occur frequently, and how they are handled can be a big factor in a rating. It's not really the problem, its how management handles it. We felt that our issue was handled in a detached manner, no one double checked to make sure the problem was fixed and any attention we received had to be forcefully gained from an overworked and confused front desk. For this reason this property receives a poor rating. Customer service and quality assurance is a distraction here. Room Tip: Rooms ending with an even number are in the front of the building and are smaller than those facing... 1,024 reviews sorted by: I stayed at this Radisson Monday-Wednesday for a job interview in D.C. The pluses about the hotel are that it's near the Metro, very near the Crystal City shops and restaurants, and right down the road from Reagan National. My room was clean and spacious and the hotel was quiet.

I have to rate this hotel just average, however, because of the service. I had booked my hotel through Priceline months in advance. When I checked in at 3PM, tired from being on the plane since 6:30AM, my room was not ready. The staff member who told me it would be 10 minutes must have ended her shift and forgot to tell someone I was waiting in the lobby...an hour later I finally went up and asked and got into my room. Also, I asked the front desk to call me a taxi at 6AM to take me to D.C. They called a car service that charged me twice as much as a taxi, but I had no choice. Easy mistake, but the check-in snafu really spoiled my experience. Finally, I've been back home for 3 days now and there's still some mysterious "pending" $25 charge on my credit card. They had to swipe my card in case there were incidentals, but I don't know what this charge is and I hope it disappears soon. I know the Crystal City hotels are cheaper than D.C., but they still cost an arm and a leg and I expect a bit more for that much money!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms probably have traffic noise, but I would suggest requesting one NOT on the fro... I frequently stay at Arlington VA area hotels, looking for reasonable prices (aiming for $100/night or at least less than $200) near the Blue or Orange Metro lines. I have stayed here three times now, and have always had a pretty good room at a reasonable cost. The staff have always been professional and friendly. The food in the bar is okay, and there is a great "restaurant row" around the corner. The walk to the Crystal City metro stop takes about five minutes and seems to be safe. The best part about my last trip was the complimentary pickup by their courtesy van, which arrived in ten minutes from my call, driven by a guy with a huge smile that made me feel quite welcome. I have to preface this review by saying that I just returned from Europe where the room I stayed in was the size of a shoe box. In DC, I was upgraded to the penthouse suite, which was bigger than my first apartment.

Having 8 towels, two bathrooms, and two closets was just bizarre after the experience I had in Paris. This is a clean hotel, lovely restaurant, nice gym, and very close to the metro. it's a great location and very quiet. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The metro was very easy to navigate, and I was able to see the hits of DC in about 6 hours and make it back to the hotel to pick up my luggage, and take the free shuttle to the airport. Room Tip: I was upgraded, so I don't have much to add here, but I would stay away from rooms close to the... The rooms are fine and the staff is friendly, but it's so convenient for DC travel. We drive here from Richmond and leave our car in the lot (fee), then just walk 2 blocks to the Metro for easy access to DC. Also, 1 block in the other direction is a nice row of local restaurants with lots of choices. We were booked into the Radisson for a Road Scholar program and decided to add some extra days to explore on our own. It worked out very well, as we were within walking distance from the Metro station to make our way into D.C. or out to Mount Vernon.
