Chief Investment Officer, Investcorp Columbia University ’73, Trustee Emeritus of Columbia University Savio Tung is one of the founding partners of Investcorp, where he is currently the Chief Investment Officer. Investcorp provides international investors with corporate, real estate and hedge fund investment opportunities in North America and Western Europe. He has been involved with most of the corporate buyouts carried out at Investcorp during his thirty-one years with the firm. Before joining Investcorp in 1984, he was a senior banker with Chase Manhattan Bank and worked at its offices in New York, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and London. He played a key role in establishing Chase’s Bahrain office and its marketing presence in the Gulf. Mr. Tung has served on the boards of many of Investcorp portfolio companies, including Circle K, Saks Fifth Avenue, Simmons Mattresses, Star Market and Stratus Computer. He is currently on the boards of Polyconcept, Golden China Funds and Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ: TECD).




Mr. Tung is a board member and treasurer of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, an affiliate of Rockefeller University. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and an independent non-executive director of Bank of China, Hong Kong. Mr. Tung holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, where he is also a trustee emeritus. Before joining Greenwoods, Mr. Zeng was an investment banker with JPMorgan, covering the IPOs and M&As of China banks, insurers, and asset managers. Prior to that Mr. Zeng was an equity analyst covering Chinese banks for JP Morgan, when his team was ranked the #2 Asia financial research team in the poll of Institutional Investors. Before that he was a Vice President at Bank of China in New York and managed a two billion dollar credit portfolio, and he was a risk manager before. Mr. Zeng graduated with a Master degree in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he was awarded the Robert Fleming scholarship.




He also attended the Master of Intl Finance program of the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China in Beijing. And he earned the bachelor degree in international finance from Wuhan University. Mr. Zeng is a CFA charterholder. He was a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA), and was a board member of the Chinese Finance Society (CFS) in the US. Mr. Zeng was the chairman of the American Alumni Association of the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China, and the vice chairman of the Hong Kong Alumni Association of the Graduate School of the People’s Bank of China. As President and CEO, he led Marvel, post bankruptcy, to a prominent position in the entertainment industry. He then served as Vice Chairman of the board, providing active leadership as Marvel grew to one if the world's leading entertainment brands and culminating in its $4 billion sale to Disney at the end of 2009. Peter had served as a senior advisor to a large distressed and special situations hedge fund. He was involved with the firm's private investments and portfolio companies in the consumer, entertainment and media sectors and co-invested in select companies including West World Media and Unifund. Previously, Peter was President and CEO of Remington Products Company. He joined the company as it was near bankruptcy and, in less than four years, executed a successful turnaround of the business and facilitated its sale to private equity investors. Peter has also served as President of the Security Hardware Group of Black & Decker Corporation, President of Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Group in Canada and President of the Clairol Personal Care Group.




After earning his undergraduate degree, Peter served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He has substantial experience as a board member of a variety of public and private companies such as Marvel Entertainment Inc. (NYSE - MVL), Iconix Brand Group (NASDAQ - ICON), West World Media (Private), WaterPik Technologies Inc. (NYSE - PIK) and Remington Products Company (Private). Peter currently sits on the board of the National Archives in Washington, DC. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. in Glass Science (Ceramic Engineering) from Alfred University, where he has served on the Board of Trustees since 1990, currently as its Chairman.
