Available exclusively in the Middle East, at the two stores, from December 3, the collection includes designs created especially for the region. Sarah Jessica Parker and her partner, shoe veteran George Malkemus III infused these designs with personal details of Parker’s past, present and future fashion influences. From the significance of shoe style names (such as ‘Carrie’ from her celebrated role on SATC) to the sentimental grosgrain ribbon detail found on each shoe and handbag, each style offers a personal link between the wearer and Sarah Jessica Parker. “I am thrilled to be launching the SJP Collection in our first international market, and particularly excited to be working with Harvey Nichols – Dubai and Bloomingdale’s – Dubai. This is an enormous opportunity for us to reach a whole new customer, and we’ve had a lot of fun curating a collection we feel, and hope, properly reflects and suits the Middle Eastern woman’s lifestyle. I’m so looking forward to spending time with those who have been watching and supporting our collection from afar,” said Parker.
Sarah Jessica Parker will make a personal appearance at Harvey Nichols Dubai on Sunday, December 7 from 4pm and at Bloomingdale’s Dubai on Tuesday, December 9 from 4pm. Customers who make a purchase from the SJP collection, respectively from either store, will have the opportunity to meet the star and have her sign their SJP Collection product. The SJP Collection will be available in the Middle East exclusively in Harvey Nichols Dubai (Mall of the Emirates) and Bloomingdale’s Dubai (The Dubai Mall) from December 3, 2014 with prices starting at Dhs1,200.
