Learn how the Heavenly Bed compares to other innerspring mattresses. THE RETAILERS: Available at Westin At Home and Pottery Barn. Westin Heavenly Bed Ratings The ratings – based on 80+ consumer reviews gathered using an unbiased, accurate methodology – show how the Westin Heavenly Bed compares to the average mattress. The Heavenly Bed overall has 64% owner satisfaction. Similar to innerspring beds in general, at least 20% of owners report significant sagging or excessive softening occurring within three years of ownership. The Heavenly Bed is priced $800-$1,900 depending on size. Add $400+ for a foundation. Shipping can add another $200+. Not a major strength, but about 8% of owners report pain relief, including back pain relief. Sagging or excessive softening can cause back pain. (See mattresses and pain relief for further analysis.) The bed is available in one firmness. Most consumers report that the bed is medium firmness, but about 20% say it is either firm or soft.

The Heavenly Bed uses pocketed coils that are mostly effective in keeping movement made from one person on the bed from disturbing another person. No initial odor / off gassing There are few complaints of significant off gassing / initial odor. Despite the fact that the Heavenly Bed has a thick pillow top, there are few complaints regarding the mattress sleeping hot. The bed tends to be suitable for back sleepers. The mostly medium firmness level of the Heavenly Bed is often well suited for side sleepers. The bed tends to be suitable for stomach sleepers. Sagging of the mattress may cause romantic activities to be uncomfortable. (See mattresses and sex for general analysis). Innersprings may on occasion make some noise, such as popping and clunking. Rotating the mattress at least twice a year is needed to maintain comfort and prevent / combat sagging, at least 20% of owners report. The design is no-flip. As is the case with most innerspring mattresses, the weight of Heavenly Bed can make moving or maneuvering the mattress as well as changing linens difficult especially for one person.

The warranty is 10-years non-prorated. Several owners complain that warranty terms do not provide adequate coverage for sagging or softening. (Refer to mattress warranties: what you should know.) The mattress typically cannot be returned. Delivery can take 2 to 4 weeks. Sleep Like The Dead (SLTD) gives Simmons a company rating of "C-" based on several factors including years in business, customer service, return policy, accuracy of marketing claims, transparency of specifications, warranty, Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating and rating stability, number of BBB complaints / business size ratio. Based on a sample of 80+ owner experiences, the Heavenly Bed has 64% owner satisfaction. This is average compared to innerspring mattresses overall, but below average compared to all mattresses overall (innerspring, air, memory foam, latex). Owners who purchase the entire Heavenly Bed ensemble – linens, pillows, blankets – tend to be somewhat more satisfied than those who buy only the mattress.

About our unbiased Westin Hotel Heavenly Bed Review The Heavenly Bed ratings are based on at least 80 owner / consumer reviews and experiences that were collected using an unbiased, accurate methodology. – The Heavenly Bed is available in only one firmness. Most owners say the bed is medium firmness, but at least 20% say it is either firm or soft. Owners also say that the bed is firmer than expected when new, but softens over time. – Buying the Heavenly Bed's bedding (upscale linens, pillows and blankets) tends to result in somewhat better owner satisfaction than buying just the mattress alone. – The Heavenly Bed's pocketed coils generally reduce motion made by one person on the mattress from moving across the bed to disturb another person. – Consumers should not have the expectation of being able to return a Heavenly Bed.Hotels are no longer solely for a good night’s sleep. In addition, they have perfected their mattresses, sheet sets, décor and more to such an extent that guestrooms are now something of a shopper’s showroom.

At a variety of hotels worldwide, guests can now purchase items they fall in love with at their home away from home and then take them back to their permanent home. You can buy your favourite hotel products from the following webstores. Hilton Hotels and Resorts provides a shop for the overarching Hilton products, but many of its brands have their own stores as well. Hilton To Home ships to almost all international destinations, but shipping costs vary. The Hilton Bed can be snapped up along with other commodities. Linens, spa skincare products, the brand’s morning coffee blend and LCD alarm clock are just some of the items for sale. The Sweet Dreams Bed, patented by Doubletree, is just one of many items sold by Doubletree At Home. Other items include Doubletree’s spa products for men, VitaMan Essentials, and even its iconic chocolate chip cookies.  The Hampton Bed is currently 35 per cent off online, as is everything else – sheets, bedding, pillows, and more.

The Homewood Suites is Hilton’s extended stay brand. Although some travellers may not fall in love with a specific bed after just one night, it makes sense that after an extended stay they might. In addition to the Suite Dreams Bed, other items such as desk lamps and robe are also on sale.  As the website states: “Everything you need to recreate the Home2 Suites sleep experience in your home”. With no added fluff, just the mattress, bedding, linens and towels are available to purchase here.  The Waldorf Astoria Bed might be the signature item from Waldorf Astoria, but for guests who so desire, a spicy soap gift set and even a variety of chef’s aprons are among the other online offerings.  There are two versions of the Marriott Bed, both the UK and the EU. Shop Marriott also sells both the Acca Kappa and Thann hair and skincare products and a variety of other bath products, bedding, linens and pillows. The Courtyard mattress is available separately or as part of a bed package, which provides all the necessities – pillows, linens and more, for a night’s rest akin to the one you had in the guestroom.

Bathrobe and shower curtains are on sale as well.  In addition to the Renaissance Hotels’ more unique items, such as the Wobble Chess Set, Collect Renaissance sells the Renaissance Bed, bedding and pillows. Additional bath items can be purchased too.  JW Marriott has much more than just the JW Marriott Bed for sale; it even has three distinct mattress choices. Apart from linens, pillows and a variety of bath products, Curated by JW also sells multiple wine products and a voice control travel clock. The Shops online store includes Style, a section that showcases glassware, decorative vases and bowls among other more common products. These include, of course, the brand’s exclusive Ritz-Carlton Bed along with a variety of pillows, bedding and bath items. Almost all of Starwood’s brands have introduced online stores for guests who repeatedly ask where they bought their sheets, or even where to find their decorative artwork. It is important to note that, while the brand does ship internationally, all international duties and customs are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the shipping costs.

The Sheraton Store (including Four Points by Sheraton) The Sheraton sleep experience, exclusively designed by Simmons, a mattress company with over 140 years of experience, offers the mattress and box spring or even signature or deluxe bed sets found in hotel rooms. These include exact replica pillows, sheets, duvet and down blanket. Of course, all of these items are sold separately as well. The store also sells products including Shine for Sheraton body lotion and even the Sheraton showerhead. The St. Regis brand has made a few signature items available online, including the exclusive Grand Tourista Bag by Jason Wu and the Bloody Mary Book, which is coming soon and features famed bartender Fernand Petiot’s Bloody Mary recipe. In addition to the Luxury Collection’s mattress, bedding, and bath products, its online store sells some of the brand’s luxuries, ranging from the latest edition of The Luxury Collection book series, candles and even a few pieces of Helena Christensen’s showcased photography.

W Hotels boasts two specially-designed mattresses, the W Plush Top Bed and the W Pillow Top Bed, both of which are available to purchase online. As with the Sheraton, both bedding sets and individual sheets, pillows, bath items and more are available individually. The W Hotel also has some of its unique artwork, the W Hotel candle and a few clothing items, including a T-shirt and scarf, available.  The Westin Hotels and Resorts was the first hotel to brand its bed in 1999. A short while later guests started to ask where they could purchase the Heavenly Bed. Westin responded by introducing a phone hotline and retail website and, in 2005, was the first chain hotel to bring its bed and bedding to a retail store (Nordstrom). In addition to selling their bedding individually and in sets, the Westin Store offers home fragrance diffusers, sprays, bath and body productsm and more. There is even a Heavenly Dog Bed available so your pooch can have an equally satisfying night’s rest. Unlike many other brands, Ibis only has three items listed in its online store – the Ibis Bed, Ibis Pillow and Ibis Duvet.

The Sofitel brand offers its exclusive mattress, the Mybed, alongside a variety of designer items and gifts. Among these are products including Jack Russell leather goods and various kitchen items.  Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Store It should be noted that Fairmont products can only be shipped to Canada, the US and Australia. In addition to the Fairmont Bed, bedding, bath products and accessories, the store offers a variety of spa products, children’s gifts from The Eloise at The Plaza, and a variety of teas. Swissotel offers an original mattress topper, a variety of bedroom linens and bath products, and an extensive section of gifts and design products for sale. With international shipping available, guests can also choose between a variety of colourful and fun seat cushions, postcard sets, bags and more. The Hyatt offers six different bedding collections, as well as the Hyatt Grand Bed. Other items include fitness apparel, shower and bath accessories created for Hyatt by Restoration Hardware and even two separate spa stores with various products.

For delivery to the UK, orders must be placed by calling the toll free number or by email at .  Not many hotel brands sell houseware items, and when they do, the selection is narrow. However, the Wyndham Home Collection has a large inventory that includes appliances such as toasters and blenders. Wyndham uses and sells the Beautyrest mattress by Simmons as well as Wyndham bedding and towels. While Premier Inn does not have an entire online shop, it does provide guests with the opportunity to buy their mattress. The Premier Inn Bed is sold by Hypnosbeds. FOUR SEASONS HOTELS AND RESORTS Although Four Seasons does not have an online store either, the three Four Seasons Mattress Toppers are available to buy.
