I went to the lumber yard and had them cut 1" pieces from a 4x4 fence post unscrewed the feet that came with the bed frame and set the corners of the box frame on the 4x4 pieces. Made the bed shorter and easier to get in and out of. Crawling in and out of a bed was not an option as I have Arthritis, now I am able to sit on the edge of the bed and swing my legs onto the bed.
