Your air mattress is breaking down. All those little circles have plastic tubes that connect one side of the mattress to the other. Some of them have broken loose. There’s no way to fix them.Live with the bulge as long as you can. If you’re going to buy another air mattress, buy one of the same size. Cut the end of the mattress with the air valve out of the old mattress, and begin to turn it inside out. Cut away as much of the plastic connectors as you can, taking some care not to penetrate the surface. When you’re finished cutting out the connectors, turn the old mattress right side out. Now partially inflate the new mattress and insert it inside the old mattress. Once it’s completely in, finish inflating it. The old mattress will provide some support for the new mattress to keep the plastic columns from breaking. It will also help to prevent puncturing the new mattress.I was A2A for some reason so here goes. What kind of mattress is it? If it's one of those things you buy at the Drug Store to float around your wading pool;
just buy a new one. If you are talking about an inflatable Bed mattress, you have a problem. If it's under Warranty, contact the manufacturer for a replacement. If it's not under Warranty, either buy a new Bed or try to fix it yourself. I can only guess on how to repair this because I do not know what the air bladder is made out of. If it is Vinyl, go to a good Hardware Store and ask for a Vinyl Repair Kit. I have used them on my Waterbed back in the ’70s and they work pretty well if you follow the instructions carefully. Of course, me being me, I might just deflate the thing and put a couple layers of Duct Tape over the bulge and call it good while trying to figure out how to put a new mattress that doesn't use Air into my budget. I have developed a distinct dislike for “hydraulic” mattresses of any type over the years. I have spent so much of my life outdoors, I actually prefer the floor with just a half inch of foam under me. Unfortunately, my Wife does not share that sentiment and we use a Memory Foam mattress instead.
