I see these vans driving around Queens sometimes picking up mattresses from the trash. They are in the trash for a very good reason, I suspect. These low-life companies take the mattresses out of the trash and "refurbish" them (which could mean anything). The mattresses could be full of the same interior stains and possibly even bedbugs that they had when they were put in the trash. It's a disgusting practice and I feel ill every time I see one of those filthy vans. Even if the store doesn't tell you the mattress is used, it very well could be, especially if it's such a "good deal".
