I searched for this place before I came for my visit, because I was looking for art book shops. I didn't expect it to be so near to the Raffles Hotel (just behind it) and that it is a whole mall of books! I was here to see the Basheer Graphics book shop, only to find more surprises! bras basah complex is located just next to the National Library. Good place for 2nd hand and out of print books, textbooks, exam papers. This is also a good place for art materials (Art Friend, Art Mark patronized by design school students and craft lovers), music instruments, old CD,DVDs, music scores. there is a multi-story Popular Bookstore selling new books,... I arrived the area too early before my lunch appointment at Restaurant nearby. I popped up to check out this place. At 11 a.m. was still pretty dark and quiet.
