*** VACANCIES *** Administrator at Wrangaton *** Driver at Newton Abbot *** for more information please visit here ReFURNISH is a Devon charity that collects unwanted furniture, electrical goods and other household items that are in good reusable condition, and sells them to those that appreciate the environmental benefits of reusing household goods that may otherwise go to waste, or simply want to buy at affordable prices. We offer special discounts to pensioners and people who are in receipt of means tested benefits, but you don’t have to be on benefits to buy from our shops, our shops are open to all. You can donate items by contacting your nearest shop or phoning 01752 927002 for all shops, and arranging for it to be collected, or by dropping them off in the shop (opening times only please!). We accept most furniture, electrical goods and general household goods. Donated items must be clean and in serviceable condition, see the donations page for more details. All electrical items are function and safety tested and we only do minor repairs of furniture though we hope to do more in the future.
In addition to reducing waste and helping to alleviate poverty by providing low cost goods to people on low incomes, we provide volunteering, training and employment for people who may be unemployed or retired and may have a variety of support needs.We offer good quality pre-owned and brand new furniture and home appliances; from suites, sofas, chairs, dining sets, rugs, beds and wardrobes to an array of electrical items including small electricals, TVs, Hi-Fi systems, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers. By shopping or donating, you're helping us to continue our life saving work. We receive fresh stock daily, all of which is quality checked. Monday to Saturday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm Sunday 10.00 am - 4.00 pm Don’t throw away your unwanted items; give your pre-loved furniture and home appliances a second chance donating it to our charity shops.
