With four large buildings full with modern, antique, retro and vintage pieces complete with a quaint vintage tearoom on site, you will need to give yourself plenty of time during your visit so that you don't miss out on the experience and our home cooked meals and cakes cooked daily in the Tearoom. We have some fantastic 1950/1960's furniture that are very well priced, great quality and in brilliant condition but may not fit into today's modern home.

Anything chipped damaged or incomplete Flat packed furniture without instructions Fitted bathrooms i.e. showers and sanitary ware SOFT FURNISHINGS (without fire labels referring to BS7177 or BS1988) Cot mattresses (if they are stained or soiled) Divan beds and mattresses Electric foot spas (that aren't in original box) Sunbeds and tanning equipment Electric hair removal kits Ceiling & wall light fittings Computer hard drives or keyboards Gas appliances (mains or bottled gas) Oil filled radiators (not supplied with a thermostat) SPORTS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT Safety helmets, riding hats, crash helmets Safety harnesses of any sort Buggies or pushchairs which are dirty incomplete or without the 5 point safety harness. and without a BS EN 1888: 2012 or BS EN 1888: 2003 label. Prams or pushchairs that have been modified or damaged may no longer meet the requirements of the standard, things to look for are: the presence of any sharp edges or points;




the folding chassis must have a primary and secondary locking device, do they both must engage and work properly; the safety harness, is it in good condition? is the harness secure or are the straps frayed; the wheel security, any evidence of heavy wear on the edges of the wheels; the parking brake, does it work both forwards and backwards, does it engage properly; the general stability in all directions; the tubes or linkages, have they been bent by impact with kerbs etc; the presence of any finger entrapments, ensure any exposed tubes still have some means of preventing fingers getting trapped; ensure the pram or pushchair is in generally good conditionChildren’s car seats or booster seatsHighchairs without 5 point harnessSoft toys without CE markWEAPONS Knives (unless in packets or covers) Swords, sword stocks, crossbows Guns and ammunition (including replica guns, unless obviously toys) Mirrors with art frames Perishable goods, food and drink - including alcohol & liqueur chocolates
