This provided just enough support and softness for my too hard mattress to be comfortable. The Sealy 'Premium' memory foam mattress topper was very unsatisfactory. Compared to other like products in department stores, this was just a big piece of foam, not even having a cover of any kind! Not worth the cost of item. The only bad thing is the smell and I have had it for two weeks and the smell is still there but the topper is great Not cut evenly so may sit different in each corner. Love the comfort of this topper! Just what I needed for a too hard mattress. Perfect to add just enough cushion to a newer bed that wasn't quite soft enough. I don't normally like the feeling of memory foam but I am very pleased with this purchase. We tried 3 inch topper and it was too soft that you sunk in. This is the perfect size. Quickly replaced with this great deal at Overstock. this topper does seem to hold a little heat which is great for the winter but I wonder how it will be in the summer?
