Dear people from the #BoroughPark and #Flatbush communities.
There is a business opportunity going around to join a MLM (Multi Level Marketing) company called Club 360.
For people who are unfamiliar with MLM, it could sound really promising and legitimate, however this MLM is actually known as a Pyramid Scheme. The way that pyramid schemes work, is that the primary income is by recruiting and getting people to join the company, versus a legitimate MLM company which gives you a product to sell that people actually want and you as a distributor will make money (much like Mary Kay, etc). So if - for example - Mary Kay would stop recruiting people, the distributors will still make money because it's a product people want!
Club 360 promises you will make money based on recruiting people, and they only give you a product so their company remains legitimate and they won't be characterized as a pyramid scheme! But, when you go down to the presentation, the person giving the presentation will clearly tell you that it doesn't matter what product you're selling, and you don't even have to sell the product. Its main income is from recruiting people to join! This by definition is a pyramid scheme and is 100% illegal, and is doomed to fail!
