If you book a room and specify 3 people does that normally include the price of an extra bed. I have read on some posts about a charge for a Rollaway bed. Why would you not just get a room with 2 beds instead of 1. i think the op is initially getting 2 beds but wants each person to have their own bed, no? you may still be charged extra for a rollway as a 2 bed room can actually sleep 4 without an extra bed, but it will depend on who you talk to at the hotel when you ask. It may depend on what hotel you are staying at as to whether or not you are charged, but as far as I know if you don't specifically request a roll away no hotel will assumme you need one. I think they will assumme 2 in one bed and 1 in the other bed if you have reserved a room for 3 people. You are best to request a roll away in advance as they may not have one available if you wait until you arrive. In fact, even if you request one there is probably no guarantee that they will have one for you.

I was hoping that the extra you pay for the third person would include the cost of the bed - no such luck by the sounds of it. i stayed at the El Cortez in June and my daughter had sprained her ankle right before we left, when I checked in I asked for a roll away bed and the clerk said that they could send one up "NO CHARGE", but normal fee was $15.00 a night. SO I lucked out... It doesnt hurt to ask Both the MGM and Imperial Palace are included in the cost of the third person charge. The rep says they charge for one or the other and not both. Gold Coast as well said that they would not charge for a rollaway as long as the third person charge is paid. They will get you either way if there are 3 people in the room. Some hotels have sofabeds in the sitting area, so you can get a room with 2 queens and a sofabed and no rollaway - what hotels are you considering? MGM wrongly sent a rolloway bed to my parents room (we asked for a seat for the shower as my mum is disabled) when I can called up I asked if there was a charge (for the seat) and she thining it was a rollwoay said know, but we were in a suite.
