We were blessed with the most dreamy, bohemian baby shower a few weeks ago! It was very important to us to make the day as much about the daddy to be as the mama to be, so we opted for a co-ed shower that felt more like a great backyard party than a baby shower! Every detail of the day was perfect and represented us and our little bundle on the way. One of my favorite things that we did was have Foxy Parties organize a craft for all of our guests to participate in. Each guest was asked to paint a chip of wood that my hubby and I will craft into a wall hanging for our little girl’s room so she can always be reminded of how much love has surrounded her since before she was even born! It was so fun to give our guests something to participate in since we decided to opt out of the usual shower games.
Foxy Parties also did all of the amazing decor and flowers. They seriously transformed our front yard into the perfect bohemian picnic space that we were envisioning. My husband and I just moved into our new home 3 months ago, so we loved the idea of having our hosts throw the shower at our house so that we could have all of our friends over to the new space! That also gave us an excuse to show off our baby girl’s nursery. Jenn Strauss from Love birds & Lace shot all of the photos. She also shot our wedding photos, so it was really special to have her at this event 4 years later to capture another big life event for Rich and I. It is crazy how fast time flies! It makes me teary eyed thinking that our shower is over! Like our wedding, it was such an amazing, personal day with our loved ones to mark another exciting new life event that I have been dreaming about for years and I can’t wait to meet our little girl and for all of the memories that lie ahead!
