High End Luxury Scooters A great selection available with many varying features. General 'workhorse doers' to futuristic high end 'lookers'. I am writing to say Thank you to you and Martin for the recent purchase of my parents scooter . I am sure you are aware how very pleased they have been with the service from your lovely team, the people that they dealt with at Longacre garden centre at the beginning of their search for a scooter , was first class and they were made to feel very confident in the understanding of all the different models. When the scooter arrived it was again explained in every detail and nothing was too much trouble . I can honestly say it has made a huge difference for them in being able to 'nip out' for some shopping without having to rely on lifts and buses constantly , and my mum has said it has given her a new freedom. Thank you all so much , will always recommend MSL MOBILITY from both customer service and the excellent prices . Bobby Riser And Recliner Armchair

Hsl Holly Petite Dual Motor Recliner/riser Chair Upholstered In Fleur Champagne HSL HOLLY PETITE DUAL MOTOR RISER RECLINER CHAIR for details of this chair. This chair is upholstered in Fleur Champagne. This chair is 2 years old and has been looked after. I am selling this chair for a relative.Choosing a riser recliner chair: 10 questions to ask yourself before buying With a single motor riser recliner chair, the backrest and footrest move in line with each other; when you recline the backrest, the footrest comes up. A dual motor chair has two controls – one for the backrest and one for the footrest. This can make the chair more flexible. However both single- and dual-motor models can have a ‘tilt in space’ function, which means the whole chair tips back.

This is useful as it distributes your weight evenly while supporting your lower back, which can help relieve soreness and pressure. Riser recliner chairs can be bigger than a standard armchair and of course, take up more room when they are fully extended. You can buy models that have a ‘wall-hugger’ feature, which means they only need a few inches between the back of the chair and the wall – useful if space is limited. Riser recliner chairs are ideal for taking a nap, but aren’t designed to replace a bed for sleeping in at night. If you are considering a riser recliner chair for this purpose (perhaps because you can’t manage the stairs to bed) it would be better to take a healthcare professional’s advice on other options. However, if you like to lie flat for a daytime snooze without going to bed, you can buy riser recliner chairs that offer this option. The controls for a riser recliner chair are usually fitted to suit right-handed use, but you can specify when ordering if you’d rather have a left-handed option.

Depending on your budget and needs, riser recliner chairs are available in a range of coverings, such as luxurious leather, practical PVC or traditional upholstery fabric, all in different colours. Some offer the option to use your own fabric to cover the chair, while others offer matching armchairs and sofas without the riser-recliner function. Whatever fabric you choose, having wooden grips at the ends of the arms can make them easier to grasp when sitting down or standing up. Having a comfortable chair back to rest against is very important. Riser recliner chairs offer a range of options, such as a traditional button back, a firm padded back, or a softer padded back. A ‘waterfall’ back, which looks like a stack of pillows, can provide extra support, and you could also opt for a wingback chair if you like a side support for your head while relaxing. If you have been assessed as being at risk of pressure ulcers, you’ll need to take extra care that your riser recliner chair offers the right degree of comfort and support.

This might include having specially fitted cushions made of memory foam or gel, and taking specialist advice on how to change your position in the chair so your weight is supported and vulnerable parts of the body are protected. Some medical conditions are improved if you can keep your feet and legs elevated while sitting down. A riser recliner chair, with the option to set the footrest at exactly the right height, can help with this more effectively than a standard footstool. Most riser recliner chairs are designed for adults in the normal height and weight range. It’s important to make sure the chair is adjusted to fit you exactly, so if you are very petite or very heavy, you might need a special model of chair to suit you. Riser recliner chairs are generally safe to use, but it’s important that they don’t suddenly move unexpectedly, or risk trapping fingers, children or pets when they rise or recline. Look for safety features such as a key jack, which must be inserted into the safety lock for the chair to operate and prevents it moving accidentally, and a battery backup system, which will return the chair to a normal sitting position in the event of a power failure.
