Pühajärve Jaanituli - a music festival to remember

In my opinion the best music festival in my local area that I attended last summer was Pühajärve Jaanituli. The festival lasted for two days and was a great combination of popular musicians, good music, and making memories with friends.

The event took place in June so the weather was perfect for singing and dancing on the beach. The festival area had two stages - the main stage and the beach stage. The most famous Estonian pop singers and bands performed on the main stage. But if you were more interested in listening to rap artists and hip hop musicians, you were able to do that on the beach. One thing that made this festival experience even more elating, was the fact that you were able to get very close to the singers. The event's entertainment program consisted of games that are traditionally played on St John's Day.

From my point of view, I would recommend this music event to anyone who is interested in spending their time outdoors while listening to some enthralling music. Because it is the biggest music festival in South-Estonia, you will definitely meet new people. However, you should keep in mind that at first you might feel a little bit overwhelmed because the festival area itself is quite big and the crowd is huge. But other than that, it is an amazing opportunity to spend time with friends and listen to your favorite artists.
