Started at 1...this company showed up at 4:30. Click to Rate06/16/2015We had a negative experience with Central Mass Party Rental for our wedding. We rented chairs, table linens, dishes, glasses and silverware from them. The water glasses that we rented did not all match, we had to match up like kinds and hope that we could get all of one kind on a table. Additionally, a fair number of the glasses arrived broken. The white chairs were dirty and had to be wiped down. Worst of all though, they only delivered 12 of the 35 tablecloths that we ordered. They had to get the remaining tablecloths from another company and wanted someone to either pick them up (30 minutes from our venue) or they would deliver a couple of hours before the wedding. We weren't able to set the tables until we had the tablecloths and after much discussion they were able to have someone drive them out to us late in the day on the day before the wedding. To cap it all off though, Ken was continually rude to myself and my mother throughout the process and did not offer a discount after not having the items we reserved five months earlier!
Tablecloths were not something I wanted to have to worry about the day before my wedding, seeing as I had planned for them well ahead of time.ShareFlag05/29/2015Do not do business with these people! They are absolute thieves. We rented a blow up house for my sons 8 year birthday party and the thing was old, beat up and had countless leaks and holes in it. It completely ruined my sons party. When I called Ken regarding this on the day we rented it (one day before the party) he told me that there should be puncture holes in the blow up house so if too much air get's in it would have a place to leak out? They did not have another one in stock and I asked if I coul atleast have a 2nd blower and he told me to come pick it up (30 minutes from our home) and when I brought it back to my house, it did not work. I think they already knew that. I wasted yet another hour on my sons birthday. Ken then said he would credit me back half of our rental when I returned the house, (they never denied the condition of this old, beat up thing).
