Set in a natural setting and surrounded by a functioning farm, the site prides itself on its manicured verdant grass and beautifully kept location. The Wheeler Farm also operates the Butterfly House, another wedding facility venue within the ranch.The 7,500-square-foot stable handles about 300 guests and provides truly flexible spaces for do-it-yourself couples. When couples choose to book their wedding in The Stables, they receive access to these following event spaces:The Barn. Originally a stable for farm animals, the barn transforms into a wedding reception facility when the Wheelers bought it in 2014. Vent-style windows installed on top of the walls let in natural sunlight, showering the interiors with warm sunshine during the day and offering a glimpse of the sky at night. Planks of wood line the walls, balancing out the corrugated iron walls with their warm texture and color. It features a bridal changing room, a restroom and a spacious catering area. A wide backdoor leads to the pastures where most ceremonies take place.
Out in the open-air patio is a beautiful view of the Swan Creek.The Pastures. The main ceremony site in The Stables, the pasture is an abundance of lush neat green grass enclosed by white wooden fences. Couples wed in front of a wooden arbor decorated with flowers and laces. Guests sit on white garden chairs while witnessing the union of the couple and enjoying a picturesque view of the ranch and the blue skies.A large wooden arbor next to towering trees is also a prime ceremony location within the ranch. Couples wed under the shade and next to verdant bushes and flowering shrubs. What You Should Know The Stables is primarily a venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners and other special occasions. The site provides an event coordinator to help couples in their wedding preparation, including choosing vendors, decoration setup, theme and minute details, such as favors and gift cards. The off-site caterer must have a valid license and the clients can bring their own drinks as long as they are served by a licensed bartender.
The barn supplies the tables, chairs and some lighting effects; the client or the catering and vendor companies must supply everything else. The clients are free to decorate the place, bring their own decorations and transform the spacious stable into a magical hall. The tables and chairs supplied by the site are only for indoor use. The couple may rent garden chairs, tables and a tent if they opt for an outdoor reception or cocktail hours after the ceremony.Couples can rent The Stables for 10 hours, giving them and their guests ample time to celebrate the newlyweds' union and explore the site's facilities.
