RCN Network Update: RCN Credit Exchange, Coinfabrik audit and more.

Hello everyone, we would like to share our latest update of the RCN progress.

The RCN network has several phases of development and we will publish more info regarding the next deployments according to our scheduled roadmap.

As a first reference implementation we have been working along with Ripio Argentina to launch the RCN credit exchange.

This platform developed by Ripio is the first to connect Lenders and Borrowers of RCN.

Here, RCN tokens holders will find a list of credit requests made by borrowers which are Ripio customers in Argentina.

Where we’re and what’s next?

The current is an alpha version, it’s accessible only for those who had been included in the white list of RCN tokens sale (during the presale or crowdsale) and the funding and balance initially will be in RCN tokens but we are working this week to integrate the ShiftyButton of ShapeShift (who also has listed the RCN token today) to allow lenders to participate in loans and funding the RCN Exchange account with any digital currency available at ShapeShift. Ripio is the first wallet provider that also built the first RCN exchange, thus the first credit requests will belong to Ripio wallet’s users and they will be listed in the following days.

Ripio confirmed that the RCN Exchange beta version, expected to be launched between December 2017 and January 2018, will include the implementation of the cosigner smart contract of the RCN Network (which is being developed) among other type of loans.

Afterwards, the release candidate will bring several improvements and it will be possible for new customers to join the platform by completing the onboarding process and become Lenders in the RCN Exchange.

A brief description of what you will find on the RCN Exchange by Ripio

• Account: it shows your wallet address inside the exchange with your RCN balance. You will use this address to get RCN tokens in and out the RCN exchange.
• Active loans: a list of credit requests waiting for a lender. Each card represents a loan. It shows some characteristics of the contracts at first glance and you can also ask for more details.
• Network Status: it displays the status of RCN token.

These loans smart contracts listed here are already signed by: Ripio Argentina acting also as the Wallet Provider, ID Verifier, Scoring Agent and Cosigner.

Actually, once you logged in, you will be at the “Dashboard” section. You can always change the section clicking on any of the three buttons in the left side of the navigation bar.

By clicking on “Funding” you will access to a menu that will allow you to control your wallet, to make deposits and withdrawals.

At “My Loans”, you will see on the left a list of all the loans you ever made and its status. On the right, there’s a brief summary of your history as a Lender.

Quick tutorial to join RCN.exchange (ALPHA)

Here’s a quick tutorial to start lending in the first RCN Exchange:

1. Register with your email. (only whitelisted users during presale or crowdsale)
2. Go to your inbox and verify your email address.
3. Set up a two factor authentication from your account settings
4. Send your RCN Tokens to the ERC20 founding wallet displayed in the founding section inside the RCN exchange.
5. Done! You’re all set.

Token Sale Scam victims compensation

We’d like to share with the community that we have finalized the compensation to those purchasers who became victims of scam practices during the time the crowdsale was postponed from 1pm UTC to 1.30pm UTC on October 24th. After carefully review case by case basis we’ve solved to sent the corresponding RCN tokens amount using the token sale price
