We have a very good and expensive mattress that I am determined to protect from things that befall mattresses such gifts from our kitty. I was replacing a mattress pad that I use under a regular and easily washable pad to insure mattress protection. Though this one says it is washable, it is large and I think will not be easy to wash so once again I have a plain cotton one over this. The tiny bit of memory foam just enhances the bed comfort but doesn't change it. It looks nice, almost upholstery like, and fits perfectly with long stretchy edges that tuck way under the mattress. I followed the directions for opening it immediately and letting it air out but it didn't expand much and had no odor. Once again I got exactly what I was hoping for. Sometimes there are too many choices but I had something so specific in mind and this fit all my requirements.
This mattress pad went on easily, stays in place and provides just a bit of cushy comfort - it was what we were looking for. Lumpy areas of foam! Apparently no warranty, so out $*.... added the right amount of thickness Fits well on my California King mattress. For those that are value money, this memory foam mattress pad is okay. Not sure that there is much memory, pad is not is good as the one I had. Fits, stays in place and gives just enough cushioning.
